( A/N: I swear I don't plan on leaving for long times, but my life seems to have other plans. The end of 2018 and beginning of 2019 wasn't the best for me. My Grand-nanny passed in August, I found out my big baby of a dog was put down the beginning of December, and then my mom fell in health, and sadly I lost a friend due to a wreck. So I'm sorry for being gone longer than a few months. This will be the finale of a book I've had in the works for 5 or so years...and I know my writing doesn't show that or the quality of the book, but I've worked on this since I was in 7th grade and this being the final chapter is a relief in a way. I don't have to break promises of updates anymore. I restarted this 2 years after discontinuing it because I felt motivated but over the years motivation to write has gone down a lot. I know I only post fan fiction on here, but I started off writing original stories. Writing in a way was a way for me to vent when I was younger and more isolated from people, because as sad as it was, I really had one friend so I was lonely. Writing gave me that gateway of creating worlds where I could make a character that was based around me and make friends I wish I could have. After I moved though in the 7th grade I gained friends and had people to vent to and didn't need to create fictional friends anymore, so writing motivations went down. This is the last piece of writing from that time so it's bittersweet to finish this up, but it's happening while I have time to sit down. )
- 6 Years Later-
Luhan's POV:
"Hey Xiumin, have you seen my phone?" I was frantically looking everywhere around the room, turning everything upside down.
Xiumin popped his head up from the couch, "Lu, sweetie....have you ever thought of looking in your hand?"
I slowly looked down and saw the object of my 5 minute search was in my hand, "Oh.....totally knew that! What would I ever do without you." I said as I put the phone down and lean down to hug him.
He rolled his eyes and returned the hug, "I guess you would still be looking for your phone until eternity."
I rolled my eyes back with a smile and laid down on the couch beside him.
After high school ended, we got accepted into the same college. Then we got an apartment together off campus, which "coincidentally" Baekhyun and Chanyeol got an apartment in the same complex. I say coincidentally because I think Baek just didn't want to be that far from me.
Although Xiumin and I major in different things, and our schedules are hectic and crazy we still make an effort to see each other rather it be just like right now, laying on the couch together, or even going out. We also try to hang out with our high school group of friends, although it proves to be hard because of different schedules we still manage. Even the friends who've decided to go to college abroad we still try to Skype and text each other to keep the bond strong.
My thoughts are interrupted by Xiumin quietly asking, "Hey you okay?"
I nodded my head, "Yeah I was just thinking about things since high school. Like how far we've come and just the differences in things..."
He smiled and grabbed my hand and let out a small laugh, " It's funny how much you've changed since I first met you."
"How have I changed?"
He started tracing the lines on my palm, "Oh I don't know.....maybe when we met at school and you were like "I'm a manly man!" and now you could care less about that."
"Okay listen--- how did you know about that, are you mind reader? Have you been hiding that secret for 6 years?"
He let out a loud laugh this time and momentarily stopped tracing my palm, "No, I became friends with Baekhyun and Sehun, and they told me all about you."
