"You look frazzled."
Clara groaned. "I was up half the night studying, and I dont remember a thing!"
"Sorry."
She tossed herself dramatically across the couch. Jacob took the seat beside her with considerably more grace.
"I barely even remember what he said we were supposed to study."
"I think you were diagraming sentances."
"Yes, but we've been doing that since fourth grade. WHY were we doing it?"
"You can check the tape if you want."
"What?"
"I had the camera on during class to film you, and I think I picked up most of the audio. I can email you a copy of the file if you want."
"Is that allowed?"
"Legally, yeah. Carter would be pissed, but its not like I'm gonna film you watching it."
"You film me doing everything."
"Whatever. I'll mess with the angle."
"You really think it's a good idea?"
"We've got to get you caught up some how."
Silently, Jacob started the countdown.
