"You are my favorite person! Did you see how excited he looked to see me again?"
"Calm down, we don't want him to hear you from here."
"I owe you everything! All your tricks really helped, and now he's practically in love with me!"
"You're a long way from--"
Before Jacob could finish, Clara was enveloping him in a warm hug. It caught him off gaurd, and he hesitated for a moment before returning the gesture, wrapping his camera free arm around her body.
"Hey, it was nothing, okay? No need for such a big show of thanks."
Clara pulled away. There was a moment of profound silence as she met his gaze. Then, like the ball of energy she had always been, she burst into action.
"Well if you want anymore gatorade, I just restocked. And you can have that dumb micro-whatever theyvwere giving out on campus yesterday."
"The microfiber cloth?"
"Yeah, that. I think that guy said something about using it on a camera."
"Yeah, they're really good for cleaning the lens because--oh, hold on, its almost time."
"Thank god." Clara declared as he started the countdown. "I already know way too much about cameras."
