The night was unruly. A huge storm broke through the fluffy clouds of the day. Tormenting rain wiped at their bodies. Black clouds covered the white ones.

"When is it going to stop?" Annabeth shouted over the wind.

"I have no clue!" Jason called back.

A crying sound came from the withering grasses. Annabeth rushed forward and kneeled. Jason couldn't find her.

She secretly laughed but turned to the sound of moaning and crying. "Jason! Look at this!"

Jason ran to her, almost flattening her to the ground. "Sorry." He looked at the thing that moaned. "What in the name of Hiroshi?"

Annabeth smiled and scooped the bundle up. "It's a baby you dork. A cute one too!" She nuzzled her. In the bundle was a baby, no more than a few months old. She was wrapped up in a silver and blue cloth. A note was folded neatly into the cloth. It read: Her Royal Princess Azula Kimsara, to be murdered by The Watchmin.

"She's supposed to be murdered. Poor thing. Can we keep her, Jason?" Annabeth asked. She hummed to Azula softly.

"I, er, uh, sure, I guess." He said.

Rain continued fall. The wind slapped their faces and drew the warmth out of their cheeks. The grass twisted around their ankles as they tried to move.

Annabeth looked at Jason. Her eyes seemed to say, trees, woods?

He nodded and broke against the stronghold of the winds. Annabeth followed suit.

It seemed like hours had passed instead of minutes as they reached the tree line.

"Can't move a muscle!" Jason said dramatically as he tried to crawl one more arm length. Annabeth clutched the newborn tightly to her chest as she laughed.

"It's going to be okay, Azula." She murmured. She looked up at Jason as he got up. "How are we going to feed her?"

"Head to the next town. Honestly I don't know, Annabeth. But we should make camp here and eat out meat we were supposed to sell in Leagiba. Alright?"

Annabeth nodded. She walked around and found a nice place away from the rain. It was under a evergreen tree. The water slid off the branches and formed a canopy of protection. Jason ran back to them.

"The storm is building up. This tree won't last very long." He said ruefully.

A bolt of lightning struck the tree as if proving Jason's point. The braches caught on fire. Azula started to scream. Annabeth tried to calm her but she wouldn't stop.

"Come on!" Annabeth shouted. Parts of burning branches fell tothe forest floor with rippling thuds. She dodged them and soon found a cave.

It was ten feet high and twelve feet wide. It was twenty feet deep.

"Jason, in here!" She called again, praying that Jason wasn't hit by a branch.

"Okay!" He called back.

Annabeth set Azula on the floor of the cave. She numbly started to make camp. She unfurled the blankets and made a sleeping place. Annabeth gently laid Azula on it. She turned around to see Jason. He collasped on the floor in a exhausted manner. She rushed to him, checking his heartbeat.

"Please don't do this to me again. Please." she murmured as she lay her head on his.

Jason took a deep breath. His eyes fluttered open, showing his green eyes off. Annabeth smiled. She lifted her head up and slowly dragged Jason over to Azula. She laid him on the blankets and went to work building a nice fire.
