I am Just an ordinary girl or is that too typical? Of course with every ordinary girl comes a secret lying inside, waiting to be found... But if anyone finds this secret my whole life could be turned upside down.
Unsure of where or who to turn to...
"What, where am I? Who are you? Wh..." I turned over, questioning who was behind me.
"Calm down your ok" he reassured me,"my name is Thomas, thomas Green."
"You haven't answered my first question" I told him still confused of where I was.
"Your still in the forest, just away from the "police" who were after you" He said, emphasising on police.
"Why do you say it like that?" I questioned, once again.
"I'll tell you later, for now just eat something and would it be possible to shut your bird up?" I asked.
"Yes" I replied, still unsure of weather to trust him.
The sun was high, suggesting that is was mid-day, I got up and picked Arina up as well. I put her on my shoulder and looked down at Thomas. He was kinda hot to be honest and had a loose jacket with jeans on. He had blonde messy hair and gorgeous brown eyes that glistened in the light.
I looked over him and my eye caught a glimpsed my bag, I walked straight over to it and opened it. All my food lay in there, I took a sandwich out with a bottle of Fanta.
We sat there for awhile and didn't say much, I played with Arina and she put a smile on my face, as always.
"How long have you had her?" Thomas said with a piece of food in his mouth.
"Six years" I replied.
"She's beautiful" He told me looking at Arina.
"Why are you here?" I spoke, changing the subject.
"Look, I saw you save that girl, from that burning house. Ella, your special and have a gift not many have. And well..." Thomas stopped speaking.
"What!" I said waiting for him to finish.
"I have a power too..." He spoke finishing his sentence.
Wait, how does he know it was me with the power and he has them too? I was so confused and didn't what to think of it all.
"Just look" he stared into my eyes and then looked at his hand.
A bright, elegant mist, slowly cascaded down his hand like a silent waterfall. It hit the ground gently and floated back up to his hand and formed together to make a butterfly. It was crazy! The blue butterfly flapped it's wings and flew away majestically. What had I just witnessed?
"There are many forms of these powers that you and I have, for example there is telepathy where you can read mines, teleportation moving to different places at will,weather control or fire and ice..." Thomas tried to explain.
"Wait, what..?" I was so confused by what I was hearing.
"I have, what we call formation which is where I can form anything, including myself ." Thomas looked at me seeing if I was understanding anything he was saying. "You are even more special though because you have multiple powers which is very rare these days and also makes you vulnerable"
"Right..?" I said with hesitance, "What powers do I have then?"
He paused for a second,"Well I believe you have three, telekinesis, force fields and flying."
"REALLY!" I exclaimed in excitement.
"Don't get too excited, as having all these powers makes you a target to people like demons who you have already encountered." He said raising one eyebrow.
"Who?... ohh, wait...so the police back there weren't really police?" I questioned trying to make sense of it all.
"Yes they were shape shifter demons, one of the types of demons out there." He said finally answering most of my questions.
"Okay, I think I finally understand it all now." I sighed.
I peered over to see what Arina was doing, she was pruning herself as usual.
Even though Thomas had explained all of this to me, I wasn't sure weather to trust him and after all he knows a lot about me, too much...
