I am Just an ordinary girl or is that too typical? Of course with every ordinary girl comes a secret lying inside, waiting to be found... But if anyone finds this secret my whole life could be turned upside down.
Unsure of where or who to turn to...
I remember pacing back and forth, around my living room, recalling what had just happened. I grasped the TV remote and turned it on, the channel was BBC 1 and the news was on. The reporter that I saw at the scene was on the screen and she was interviewing the woman, with her two girls next to her. She was talking about a young girl who had saved her daughter. They were talking about me!
"She was like a super hero" the other girl interrupted.
The shot changed to a clip of me saving that girl and you could see me using my powers. Fortunately the hood of my jacket was still up, covering my face from sight. It then changed back to the reporter.
"So this mysterious girl saved a child from near death. There have been Speculations of this girls where abouts. Police are looking now for her now, trying to gather information from witnesses. We will update you more on this story later, I'm Natalie Bowman and you are watching BB..." I turned the TV off before I heard anymore.
This can't be happening? I glanced behind the curtains to see outside and at the end of the road I could see police and police cars, as though they were looking for something or someone. I knew if they found me, that would be it.
I stayed put for an hour to figure out what to do. Everytime I looked out, the police were getting closer and closer, then realising they were knocked on each house. That's when I really started to panic. How could such a good day, go down hill so fast?
Instinctively, I gathered as much stuff as I could into my, luckily, empty rucksack. Things like food and drink from the fridge, torch's and a phone bank to change it, small blanket and a bag of bird food for Arina. I was planning on going out the garden where a big forest sat behind it and running out there. Luckily Arina was well trained at flying and would come back to me so I was confident that she would stay by my side. I wrote a note to my parents, for when they would come back, it read: ____________________________________
I can't talk much, as I don't want to get caught... I've taken the bird and ran away. Don't look for me as they will find me. Sorry, I took most of the food from the fridge. I love you so much and hope I'll see you soon. —Ella P.s don't text me, my phone will most likely be out of charge. ____________________________________
I zipped up my bag and hung it over my shoulder, I walked over to Arina's cage and opened it up. She flew straight to my hand as I put her small harness on, it fitted perfectly and made her look adorable.

I put her onto my backpack to clip her leash on, she chirped a little tune. Once again I checked the window to see where the police were. ONE DOOR AWAY!
I shut the curtains abruptly and rushed into the garden. I placed Arina on the fence and chucked the bag over, then I climbed over, taking Arina as well.
The forest was a little walk away, so I ran. Once I reached the forest I looked back and Sighed, knowing that I may never come back...
