I am Just an ordinary girl or is that too typical? Of course with every ordinary girl comes a secret lying inside, waiting to be found... But if anyone finds this secret my whole life could be turned upside down.
Unsure of where or who to turn to...
I couldn't run for much longer but I pushed my legs as fast as they would go with the energy I had left. Come on Ella! My legs aches so much until they went numb. I fell to the ground from my dead legs collapsing under me and I hit the floor like a rock. A single tear, tricked down my exhausted face and left a glossy track behind it before falling to the ground. My neck also hurt from the marks, Diesel had left. It was then my thoughts shifted to Arina. Where is she, how could she have left me? Well she is only just a dumb bird anyway.
I was so distraught I couldn't think of anything positive, only the negativity that swirled around my head. I wasn't sure weather I would ever see Arina or Thomas ever again. "Don't cry" a voice came from behind me. I glanced up, hoping, prying it was Thomas. Who are you?
I sat up and stared at the group of men standing behind, watching over me with sympathetic but serious faces. "Who the hell are you?!" I exclaimed as I stood up. I was furious, I had nothing left. Are they the demons Thomas was talking about? I thought to myself. I was confused, Arina had gone and Thomas was probably lost or worse, dead. I was sick of everything, my anger building up inside until I'd had enough. I projected Lights at the men, blinding them for a moment until a dark mist from one of them, took it and engulfed it into the dark. I was powerless.
"What do you want with me" I surrendered, just wanting some answers. "You darling, are special and have what we've been wanting for years" the front man said, "you have the power we need and if you join us, you will be the most feared girl around". My eyes widened as he finished his sentence. Most feared girl around? What does he mean by that?
I liked the sound of it but at the same time I remembered what Thomas had said about them. "What would happen if I didn't joint you?" I questioned with some new found confidence. "We will have to force you" He said as the others around him smirked and laughed. Oh crap, I don't have much choice. What do I do?
My nerves were dormant and my anger turned into nothing. I didn't care I just wanted to be on my own but they weren't having any of it. I stared them down and using my powers, I levitated up six feet off the ground. I shot energy balls of all colours: blues to purples to silver and so on, each one getting stronger and stronger. I can do this. I took my frustration out on them until they were struggling to hold me back. I felt the pleasure, they couldn't do anything like helpless little puppies.
Or though, I let my powers get the better of me, just as I shot another orb towards one of them, I felt sharp pain in my side and stung really badly. I glanced down to see a dart, that is used for knocking out animals. In seconds I dropped to the floor and I was out... __________________ Arina's pov
I flew out of Ella's pocket, which was warm and cozy, and headed straight up into the trees, were I knew I could get a good view of the forest. I needed to find the flock. It's been years since I last saw them, after I found Ella. They were like family to me and knew that they would be able to help.
I'd had a premonition beforehand, were Ella was in trouble and couldn't get out of it on her own. She was fighting some demons, the ones Thomas had talked about. She was hit with a tranquilliser dart and dropped down like a fly. That's when the premonition ended, I woke up in Ella's pocket and immediately flew out, pre-empting the future event, believing the premonition I just had. I planned to go get help from some birds I trusted.I knew the journey would at least, take a day so I needed to go fast, to save Ella in time.
The forest was dead and still, I was like a ninja in the night, flying from tree to tree getting closer to my destination. I had picked a tiny bird-sized bag of seeds with me and held it in my long claws as I set off, further into the night, instinctively knowing which direction to go.
Eleven hours of flying and the odd stop to eat some seeds and a little nap and I was finally here, the place I used to call home. Birds of all colours and species flew and there were hundreds, some I even recognised. I met eyes with my old leader of the flock , Jonas the macaw, and I gave him a look of familiarity. Like he could read minds, he smiled and nodded, knowing exactly why I was there...
