Being the daughter of the man who hates your guts isn't too fun. Him sending you to live on Pandora with some badass vault hunters? That just makes everything so much better.
Moxxi's bar was very quiet, seeing that everyone was in their homes hiding from the loud noises of the eye of Helios and the bright laser coming straight at us.
"Sugar, maybe you should try talking to your dad." Moxxi smiles.
"Yeah, then he will kill me. I don't want to be anywhere near him."
"What about your sister? She might know why your dad is trying to get you."
Aspyn sighs, knowing that is the only way any of this will be resolved. For the past week and a half, Jack has been sending Loaders to all your locations and using the eye to try breaking the wall of Sanctuary. He wasn't having much luck, seeing that she killed each Loader that came her way.
Shaking her head, Aspyn echo's her sister. Surprisingly she answers within seconds, but something made Aspyn's skin crawl.
Jack.
"Hey Princess, it's me...your dad! I need you to do me a favor, meet me at Opportunity whenever you can."
"I don't see that happening, Jack."
"Do it or your little vault hunter friends die, kapeesh?"
Aspyn chokes on her breath at the threat, knowing that her father was entirely capable of killing them. Going through all of her options, she finally came to a decision.
"I will, but on one condition. You cannot trick me nor kill me."
"There ya go, cupcake! Sounds like a plan, ciao!"
The call ended and Aspyn's heart dropped. Even if that was her father, he was good at manipulation.
"I guess you heard all of that, Moxxi. Can you keep this to yourself? Just tell Roland and Lilith I am going to check on Ellie or something."
Moxxi just nods, obviously uncomfortable. Turning on her heel, Aspyn heads to the fast travel station.
Travel Commencing : Opportunity
Arriving at the sound of Loader Bots stomping near her, Aspyn tenses up and places a hand on her gun. As she makes her way to find her father, she can't help but scoff at all of the useless statues of Jack. Each one built with tons of egocentric expressions plastered onto their faces.
Aspyn was paying to much attention to the 'landscaping' to notice that her dad was right in front of her, smirking.
"Hey there, sweetheart. Just thought I'd let you in on a little secret, you're a fool for coming here."
The sound of metal gates opening echos and Aspyn couldn't react quick enough.
Bullets started coming at her, damaging then breaking her shield. She grabs her gun and spawns a mini constructer that she stole from Hyperion and reprogrammed.
The duo did good damage but not a hit on her father, which no matter how hard she tried she couldn't bring herself to killing him. Thankfully, both Aspyn and her constructer got out of there in enough time to spare.
Now to explain it all to Lilith and Roland.
