[21.] Nausea

"Rhys has been promoted to my boyfriend."

The two began to blush, attempting to ignore the reactions in the room. Megan was quite ecstatic, she was smiling ear to ear. 

"What?" Jack's voice was louder than normal.

"About time." Timothy sighed, "To be quite honest, I thought you already were dating." 

Rhys hadn't said anything, instead just sitting there quietly and looking at his lap. Aspyn turned her head to meet her father's gaze. She wasn't sure what he was feeling but she still felt very nervous. 

He stood up, pointing at her, "Come with me."

"Huh?" 

"Come with me." 

"But-"

"Now." He groans. 

When she stands up, she glances at Timothy who was pinching the bridge of his nose. She begins following Jack out of her office as he stops and shuts the door behind her. 

"What?" 

"Rhys?" He laughs, "Really?" 

"Uhm-" Her brow raises, giving her a confused look, "Yes." 

"He better not lay a han-" 

"Shut up." She groans, "I do not need you telling me that." 

He still wasn't sure how he felt about this, but decided to ignore it, "Fine." 

"Can we go back now?" She said, turning on her heels.

He didn't say anything, instead following her. Everyone turned to look at her, which made her uneasy. 

"Okay, okay." She groaned, "Go away, disburse. Tim, go rest. You need it. Megan, you can go rest too. You've been busy since I've got here. Dad, go do whatever you do—just not here."

Two out of the three nod and scurry out of the office, Jack still stood there looking between Aspyn and Rhys. 

"Can you hear?" She laughed, pushing him towards the door. When she finally got him out, she locked the door so he wouldn't be able to get in. 

"Hi," She turned and pressed her back against the wall. 

He blushed, walking towards her, "Hi..."

Rhys had leaned in towards her, again giving her a soft but long kiss. She melted into it, feeling butterflies congregate in her belly. Rhys' hands managed to find their way towards her butt, gripping it tightly causing her to let out an excited yelp. 

The two stayed pretty flirty the whole time, which ended up escalating into more. Neither really expected anything to happen, but here they were. 

The next morning, Aspyn woke up to a different feeling. As she moved around under the covers, her hand grazed another causing her to wake up a tad more than she already was. 

"Rhys," She smiled, "Rhys, wake up." She turned onto her other side, watching as he laid there, breathing softly. 

Neither of them had clothes on, which she spotted on the ground near the bedroom door. Her movements must've caused him to wake up as he began to move around aswell. 

"Asp-" He looked down, "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry- I-"

"Shh," She giggled, "We're dating, it's fine."

"Ar-Are you sure?" 

"Yes, of course." She smiled, laying her head against him.

Over time, this began to be a happening thing. They would always go to bed together, whether it was for other reasons or not. They had fallen deeply in love with each other. 

Three weeks later, Aspyn woke up at her usual time of 7:30 to meet with Timothy and Jack while Rhys was meeting with Megan in another office. 

Aspyn stood next to her desk when an overwhelming feeling of naseua came over her.

"As you can see, sales went do-" Jack was saying, before being cut off by Aspyn running towards the garbage can. 

She hadn't thrown up yet, but felt as if she would at any second. 

"Aspyn?" Timothy asked, walking towards her. She raised her hand and gestured for him to stop. 

Jack walked up towards her, holding her hair back as she got sick. When she was finally finished, he took this as his chance to ask her what was wrong. 

"I've been like this the past couple of days," She said, wiping her mouth. 

"Aspyn, you could be sick. Let's get you to the medical wing, okay?" 

She nods, following him along with Timothy. When they finally got there, Aspyn had to take a seat. Feeling worse and worse as time went on. 

"Aspyn!" The doctor says, "What brings you here?" 

Before she could answer, Jack did it for her, "She has been sick, she said for the past couple of days, can you help her?" 

The doctor nodded, "Of course, I'm going to check a few things if you all don't mind stepping out."

They oblige, making their way out of the room. As the doctor goes onto check things, he decides bloodwork would be the best option. After a nurse comes in and does that, it takes only a little bit for the results to come back. 

Jack sits in a chair beside Aspyn, when the doctor comes in. Timothy had left to go finish the plans in the office, which Rhys found out where Aspyn was. He showed up right as the doctor did, he too sat beside her.

"Well I have some great news, Aspyn!" He smiles, "You're going to be a mom."
