It was Jack's turn.
"You think you're better than me?"
"What are you doing?"
Luckily no one was around when Rhys was yelling at what would be assumed the 'air.' Jack was angry with him and would be the reason Aspyn learned to hate Rhys.
"My daughter will know what you really are!"
Somehow Jack managed to turn on alarms in the hallways, causing lights to flash red. By now Timothy, Aspyn, and Megan knew something was not right.
"What's happening?"
Timothy looked over at her, his eyes saying it all. She began to grab her gun off of her belt and hiding Megan behind her.
People were running in many different directions, unsure of what was happening. When Timothy grabbed his gun, the intercom turned on.
"Hey, Kiddos. It's me." He laughed, "Handsome GODDAMN Jack. If you see my daughter around, let her know I'm looking for her. Ciao."
Megan was clearly in shock, confused about how Jack was here. Aspyn began to explain it but it didn't help calm her, she was panicking more than Aspyn.
"Follow me," Timothy said, making his way towards a hallway filled with people.
They push their way through what felt like boulders, no one moving out of the way. When they finally got to end they turned a corner, there stood Rhys.
Aspyn was the first to notice, "Rhys!" She yelled, running towards him.
"Hey, cupcake," Is all he said.
"Dad?"
"So nice of you to find me? Sweetheart, I need to tell you something." He reaches out, grabbing her hand.
"No," She pulls away, a look of fear spreads across her face.
"Aspyn, don't pull away from me."
"You're using him!" She yells, "Using Rhys!"
"He's fine, he's fine. I just took over for a minute."
"I-I-Let me have Rhys back."
"After I tell you what I needed to say."
She was reluctant to let him say his peace, "What could you possibly want to say to me?"
"I didn't want to do it."
He was letting his guard down, letting Rhys take back over. You turned around when a light came from the big screen.
"Dad-?" She gasped for air as tears began to prick her eyes.
"Hi Cupcake.." His voice cracks, "I really didn't want to do what I did."
"Then why did you?"
"They made me do it-"
"Who is they?"
"Those bandits."
"What?" Aspyn didn't know what to feel, she was angry and confused. He only called the Vault Hunters that and they would never, "Don't lie to me!"
"Aspyn, doll -- I really didn't want to leave you."
"You're lying!"
"They threatened your life!"
"They are my friends!"
Everyone was watching this happen, confused by what Jack said.
"Lilith and Roland told me I had to either send you to Pandora or they would have you killed."
"Why would they want that? It makes no sense!"
"Put the pieces together Aspyn! Think about it."
She stepped back and looked over to Timothy, "What is he talking about?"
Timothy only shrugged, confused as well.
"You're a siren, Aspyn."
