The next morning, everyone was awake and getting Aspyn ready to go to Opportunity. She was beyond excited to become the new CEO.
"Sugar, are you sure you can do this?" Moxxi asked.
"Of course I can, Moxx. You know that."
"Don't be afraid to ask us for help. We're more than willing to help."
"I know."
A knock comes at the door, causing them both to turn around. It was Timothy.
"Are you ready, Aspyn?"
She nods, "Absolutely."
Aspyn hugs Moxxi then turns to walk with Timothy, outside was the whole team. Rhys was watching her as she walked out, and so was Jack.
He was proud of her and he wanted so badly to just give her a hug and tell her why he did what he did.
"Are you ready Rhys?" She asked.
He nods and smiles at her, "I've been ready."
Aspyn doesn't really give anyone a goodbye, because it's just Opportunity. Nothing too major will be happening except for the gain of a new job.
They each leave with the fast travel station so it doesn't take long at all to get to their destination.
Opportunity hadn't changed much since she'd last been there. All of the statues still stood tall and so did all of the posters plastered with Jack's face on it.
"Follow me," Timothy said, leading her towards the center of the town. The sound of Loaders made her a tad uneasy but she ignored it since she had Timothy with her.
The farther she got, the sound of static started to come through the televisions and intercoms. A voice that came from no one other than Handsome Jack.
They weren't recordings though. They were him speaking at this very moment to Rhys.
"Please, she won't-"
He stops speaking as soon as he realizes that his voice being broadcasted through Opportunity.
Aspyn turns quick on her heels, "I forgot about him being here."
"How?" Timothy asked.
Rhys was about to explain himself, but Jack cut him off.
"You guys remember Nakayama, right? Well. The crazy bastard made his ID drive and Rhys felt he needed to insert it into his head."
Timothy only nods, confused as to why and how Jack is here. Aspyn didn't know what to do, she just stood there awkwardly.
"Can I just-just do what I need to do?"
"Yes, Aspyn. Let's do your thing." Rhys said, glaring at Jack for speaking.
She continued walking with Timothy and not paying attention to Rhys.
"This is your stop. Go in there and they're going to give you new clothes to put on. Then we're going to Helios."
"We're what?"
