[15.] Rhys and Tim

"Are you sure about this?" He asked. 

"Of course, Rhys." She smiled, "You'd be a great CEO." 

He blushed again, trying to contain his excitement. 

"How's your head?" She asked. 

"It's fine." He rubbed his left temple, "Still hurts a little." 

"I'm so sorry about that, Rhys. I just wanted him gone so I could help Timothy." 

"I understand," He looked around, "What did you do with him?" 

She reaches her hand into her pocket and pulls out the ID drive, "I have it."

"What are your plans with it? I know we just talked about it-" 

"He did that only because he wants me back. Not exactly to hurt Timothy, but to be with me." 

"Do you want to try and talk to him?" 

"I thought we could go to Opportunity again, see if any of the other doppelgangers are there then use them." 

"Isn't that a little unethical?" 

"Rhys, don't even." She pinches the bridge of her nose, "I want to check with Timothy first and see what he thinks." 

Rhys nods and stays quiet, trying not to alter her plans even though he had wanted to. Timothy was still in his hospital bed in the medical wing. When she knocked on the door, he attempted to get up but she stopped him. 

"No, no. Don't get up." 

"I'm fine, sweetheart." He said, continuing to sit up, "What are you doing here?" 

"I wanted to know if-" She paused, "If I-Uhm. If I brought Jack back in a different doppelgangers body?" 

"You know you don't have to ask for my permission, right?" 

"I know-but" She points to his wounds, "That." 

"We both know why he did that, Aspyn." 

"Tha-Thank you, Timothy." She smiled, grasping her necklace that he had gotten her. 

"Don't thank me." He smiled, "When do you plan on bringing him back?" 

Aspyn looked over at Rhys, wondering when 'too soon' would be. Rhys did the same, unsure if she wanted to do this sooner than later. 

"I was thinking...today?" She said, looking back at Timothy. 

"Wait--really?" Rhys gasped. 

"Is that too soon?" She turned, "I just have so many questions for him--I don't know." 

Timothy looked back at her, he wasn't quite sure if it was the best decision but he wasn't going to alter her plans. 

"Go for it," He said, "I'm sure it'll be fine." 

"Are you sure?" She asked, "It's not going to bother you." 

"Aspyn, no. It won't bother me at all." 

He was lying but wasn't going to tell her that she couldn't. It wasn't his place to decide what to do. 

"Oh my. Okay, so we need to go to Opportunity." She looks over to Rhys, "You'll go with me, right?" 

"Of course, Aspyn." He smiles, "I'll go with you." 

"So we need to go now then." She smiled, "Is that okay with you?" 

He smiles and nods, gesturing for her to lead the way. She waved at Timothy, "I won't screw this up." He only smiles back, chuckling at her.
