[05.] Mini-Jack

Aspyn was gone as soon as Mordecai moved out of her way. Everyone stood there dumbfounded and tried to process what had happened. 

"So do we go after her?" Brick asked. 

"The last time I saw that much attitude she was going to kill someone." 

Before anyone else could say anything, Lilith's echo rang.

Scooter calling...

Lilith answers, she was annoyed due to Scooter's awful timing. 

"Lil- where did Aspyn go? I was talkin' to her about her bandit technical and she's gone." 

"What were you telling her?"

"Uh, I told her that I found who destroyed her tech-"

"WE GOTTA GO!" Lilith yelled, "Thanks Scooter!"

As the Vault Hunters got prepared to get their weapons and such, Vaughn and Rhys (and Jack) seemed so confused.

"What is going on?" Vaughn asked.

"Well, Aspyn is going to kill someone for destroying her car and we gotta save them or else we're gonna have a little Jack on our hands," Mordecai explained as if he was speaking to a baby.

Vaughn nods, but Rhys and Jack look at each other. They both seem a little nervous even if he was Jack. 

"Y'all wanna come with?" Lilith asked.

"I think I am gonna head back, I've seen too much death recently." Vaughn said, but Rhys was a different story, "I wanna go."

Zer0 gives Rhys a gun, "Don't kill her. Just wound if need be, like the leg or something." 

"What!"

Zer0 shrugs, "Come on." 

The group walks until they find their little psycho, they all seem very calm except Rhys who is worried as to whether he would have to shoot her or not. 

Finally, after walking for a few hours, they hear a lot of ruckus coming from over the cliff. Lilith gestures to them to 'wait right there' after she looks to see Aspyn torturing a bandit,  she gives a thumbs up to the team. 

"Aspyn! Dude, chill!" Brick yelled, causing Aspyn to spin on her heels and point a gun directly towards them. Before she could shoot them, Mordecai snipes her and manages to hit her leg and then he shoots the bandit. 

"Ah, fuck you - Ow!" Aspyn groans in pain, grabbing her leg. 

"Did you just shoot her?" Rhys yelled. 

Jack seemed a tad angry after seeing his daughter get shot by who he claimed to be bandits. Rhys noticed the anger and sympathetically goes to Aspyn.

Lilith is already on her way to her and begins to heal Aspyn. The overwhelming healing causes Aspyn to drift into unconsciousness. Lilith picks her up and throws her over her shoulder. 

The way back wasn't to bad since there was a fast travel station near them. Brick and Mordecai were discussing their next mission while Lilith was talking to Zer0 about a issue that Ellie's been having with the bandits in the Dust. Rhys kind of was just...there.

Jack was walking in silence because he was still angry about his daughter being shot in the leg. Rhys wanted to break the silence between him and Jack so he tries to get some distance between him and the others.
