34 | The Spark Of Something New

Jungkook POV.

Upon the low-volumed but still bugging noise I interval my eyelids. The light is disturbing, my eyes slightly ache upon the sun's sudden interaction with my darkened orbs. 

- Oh, yes, it would be just a day off. I would really appreciate it.

Huh?

That's Jimin hyung's voice.

I get my vision clear and Jimin hyung comes into perspective. He is sitting on the opposite side of the bed with his back towards me and talking on the phone.

- Of course, I can recompense the missed documents by tomorrow. It's just a one-time thing... Oh really? Oh, I'm really grateful, thank you nim. 

Ah, it hits me fresh. I slept at Jimin hyung's room last night!

Mmm, the room smells so good, like fresh flowers and daisy... I can feel my skin shining and relaxed due to the good night's sleep I had. 

- Kookie?

Jimin hyung is staring at me from where he is.

- O-oh, hyungie, good morniing. -I shyly respond and pull the blanket over my head, giggling under it as he comes over to me and hugs me over the blanket. -Ahhh, hyuuung, get ooooff, you're too heavy!

Our playful struggle goes on for only a short while. Next thing, my head is popped out of the blanket and his bright smile and sparkly eyes are dominating me from the top. What an amazing morning...

- Hey, baby. -He says with a calm voice and leans in for a soft peck, making my morning a thousand times better already. His lips are the best thing to wake up to in this world. -Mmh. -He giggles fairly unto my lips, then reverting his stare back to my eyes that are dreamily watching him watch me. -What are you staring at prettily like that?

I can't help but release a chuckle too. I remove my hands out of the blanket, even though with a bit of difficulty since he is on top of me yet, and wrap them around his neck. 

- You. -I unoriginally reply. I'm not as creative in complimenting him. But I try to not keep my mouth shut at least...

- Or your reflection in my eyes. 

- Hyuung! -I hit him lightly at the back of his neck and we laugh at the silly joke he made. He ends up pecking my lips again, more than once though. It makes my heart flutter... -Who were you talking to on the phone? -I ask, breaking the silence.

- My workplace. -He replies with a bright smile. -Guess what.

Hm?

- What?

- I'm taking today off.

Nooo way.

- B-but how?

Hyung sneaks under the blanket and pulls me towards him with both of us laying on the side of our bodies. His arms wrap around me and our faces land next to each other on the same pillow. 

- How, it's really simple. You seduced me. -He whispers funnily. 

- That's not even true! -I pout in surprise, when did I?

- It's so true. 

- Then what did I say? When did I?

He takes a moment to stare at my face, my heart takes laps again. I feel lovely and beautiful when he gives me that look with his wormhole eyes. 

- You were sleeping. And then you looked so transcendent that I decided I wouldn't be able to let you go for the day. 

I gulp, this... this is making me shy... He watched me while I was sleeping? He finds me that cute even while sleeping? H-hyuung...
