Kara and Lena were already in Lena's cop car which she had already of course changed the plates on, so the New York PD would have more trouble trying to track them. Kara couldn't believe that she had said yes to Lena's crazy plan. She was now a fugitive on the run. Something she would never have believed if she was told that yesterday. This was like something out of the latest blockbuster film. She looked over at the brunette who's eyes were concentrating on the road ahead of them, as soon as they made it into Canada, they would ditch the car and fly somewhere exotic, Lena had promised that would be Kara's decision, she claimed all she wanted was for Kara to be happy wherever they would be starting their new life together.
"Thank you for trusting me." Lena said, taking her eyes off of the road for a second to gaze upon the beautiful blonde who really was deserving of a nickname other than blondie, even though it did suit Kara to a T. Kara nodded her head, a small smile taking over her face, she was happy to be driving into the sunset with the woman of her dreams even if she was a wanted criminal.
2 years later....
Kara ran down the road, rain bouncing off of her umbrella, before she reached the warmth of her house, half way up the small street. She hurried inside before the rain could drench her anymore than it already had.She took of her jacket, leaving her umbrella to dry near the radiator, as she walked into the living room where Lena was sitting working on her latest business plan. Lena looked up at Kara and couldn't help but giggle at the frizzy, blonde mess that Kara's hair had turned into in the rain.
"Out off all the places in the world and you had to choose Scotland, where it rains almost every day." Lena said, smiling as Kara came and sat on her lap, getting the brunette almost as equally wet. Kara giggled giving Lena a huge hug before being pulled into a long, passionate kiss that just like always Kara never wanted to end.
"I love Scotland, its so beautiful and the people are just amazing, you're just angry because every beach we ever go to here is either freezing cold or swimming with jellyfish." Kara said with a giggle, Lena raised an eyebrow like those reasons weren't a good reason to be annoyed at a country.
"I suppose it could have been worse, you could have chosen England." Lena said with a giggle as she flipped them over so Kara was now firmly underneath her. Kara looked shocked.
"I would never make you live in England!" She said with laughter in her voice as Lena began to tickle her mercilessly.
Kara was happy to say that this was her life now. The US had no idea where her and Lena had vanished to and now Kara was a detective in the Scottish police force and as for Lena well she was a budding business woman. And Kara knew that one day she would be world famous for that instead of being a murdering detective. Lena embraced Kara once more, she can't believe after all the bad she had done in her life that she had gotten this lucky. She couldn't wait to grow old and grey with the love of her life who she admired more than anyone, except for maybe Cat Grant, who of course came to visit at least four times a year, she was Lena's family after all.
And they all lived happily ever after...
THE END.
