### From this story forward, I want to dedicate all my stories to my grandmother that had passed away on February 17, 2015 — Eunice M. Blair. There is something I have written about her in the story after this one The New Jedi Knights long before she left us. Thanks for making our lives so wonderful when you lived with us years ago. I wrote your warm personality in all my stories that had you in them. I will never forget you. May the Force be with you always. ###

+++ I post another dedication: Jerry Bowers [which is my father, and is in this story and others after] died on August 15, 2015, at 74. He left a legacy in Hall County, Georgia during his time at North Hall High School. He also left a legacy with his family. We cannot label not too many people in such a manner. I know two very important ones in human history: Helen Keller & Samantha Smith. All that knows you will miss you and carry onward with all you have given us. Thank you. +++

Chapter 1: Visiting Earth

As dawn broke over the New Republic, rays of light pierced through the window of Sam and Jack's apartment. Jack drew back the curtains to rouse her from sleep. Just as Sam reached out with the Force to draw the shades shut once more, Jack gently intervened.

He said, "Get up lazy!"

She woke up, and she went to her husband to give him a morning hug.

She smiled and asked, "Since you woke up before me, have you eaten breakfast yet?"

He smiled and answered, "No, I haven't. That is why I wanted you to wake up." They kissed for a time before Sam made them both breakfast.

As they settled into their morning rituals, the sun continued its ascent. Its golden beams bathed the city, first touching a select few structures before spreading its embrace to others. Within the span of an hour, every corner was aglow with its brilliance. The entire planet was a vast metropolis, a bustling city that claimed the title of the most vibrant hub in the galaxy... a distant world leagues away from Earth.

The Jedi oversaw the operation of a solitary Stargate on their planet, a unique gateway within their galaxy. With the Goa'uld no longer posing a danger, the consensus was that the Stargate would not jeopardize the safety of this densely inhabited world. Nevertheless, the SGC on Earth recommended implementing precautionary security measures. In solidarity with Earth, with whom they shared a robust alliance, they established what was deemed an unnecessary but prudent layer of protection.

Ituor, a Miraluka, stated, "Jack I am sorry to have to tell you this, but Earth has a strong fear of what they do not understand."

"It isn't everyone running this inner-planetary transport, only the United States of America. Just the same, I agree with you. Dealing with the Goa'uld, we have learned little about what is out there. From being here with all you guys, I've learned a great deal."

With a smile, "One day Earth will experience different life forms. When that time comes, they will learn as you have."

His wife already explained to him, their Jedi friends that will be going to Earth soon, can use the Force to disguise their appearance, so he didn't have to go into that. Instead, he said, "That's true. The thing that upsets me is why would they even care about the security of another planet? They have never done this before."

Tumok Brugnat, a Nautolan, answered, "The SGC on Earth knows these Goa'uld. We have learned a great deal, but that does not even come close to what all of you know about them."

"I guess the main thing is that I want to get back to Earth soon. I like it here with you guys, but..."

Tumok stopped him, "We all would think, and feel the same way, Jack. Who would not?"
