Chapter 16: Plans to Attack the Death Star, part 1

"Once Princess Sofith gets here, gentlemen, we can discuss our plans,"
The President of the United States said.

She replied,
"Discuss what?"

Brandon and Sam were right behind her, with Dentralla at Sam's side.

"I wasn't expecting you two here, but I'm glad to see you,"
Ituor said.

Brandon explained what he found out with the Force and his beliefs on why they are attacking Earth.

Sam cut in,
"Selmak told us that a small elite attack squad would attack
the Death Star. Has that changed because of the Goa'uld?"

Ituor answered her,
"No, but we might have to have two direct attacks on it since
the Ubaids are planning for us to attack. We thought we could
catch them by surprise, but it looks like that won't be possible.
As we are doing our offensive maneuvers with heavier firepower,
the Ubaids will concentrate on it rather than on the elite force
you are talking about."

Brandon closed his eyes to see the outcome. He said to Ituor,
"It might work, but it has to be convincing."

"We plan to do just that. If the Ubaids see that the Asgards
are helping to destroy this Death Star, then they will think this
is the only attack that will be on it,"
Thor replied.

Brandon asked,
"When we get there, what are we supposed to do?"

Ituor answered,
"You and Sam, with your special abilities, are to set high
explosives on the main reactor. I'm counting on them to
have high defenses near and around it. We assume that they
have a full fleet like the stormtroopers as the Empire had. That
is why there will be a good number of us in this elite force.
While Kavreesh and the others are fighting off these clone
armies, you and Sam will do this special task. With your special
abilities with the Force, you will handle all the defenses that will
surround it. Only you two can do it. The Ubaids would see that
the average Jedi could not get even near it."

Sam asked,
"Will we both be going through some training before we attack the thing?"

"From what we can understand from the designs on this
Death Star, we Asgards have come up with all the possibilities
for you two Jedi will be facing. You will go through all the
possibilities in your special training,"
Thor answered.

Ituor commented,
"I need you two to pass this training one hundred percent.
We can't accept anything less. Even for you two, that may be
very hard, but you both need to do this."

Sam asked,
"When will this training course be ready?"

He answered,
"It is ready now."

Thor asked,
"If you are both ready, then I will send you both to it. Once you
get there, the training will begin. Are there questions before I
send you to your training?"

They both said,
"No."
Thor sent them to it.

At Naboo, the Queen went to the Bowers and asked,
"How are you doing?"

Jerry said to her,
"We are doing great, Your Highness. Thank you for asking.
Have you heard from my son and his Jedi friends?"

She smiled, "Yes, I have. Sofith sent you a message saying
that Jedi Master Brandon and Jedi Master Sam are both on
special training in dealing with destroying this Death Star.
She also has a letter from your son." She gave him a sealed-up
envelope, and she left him alone to read it.

Jerry opened the letter. It said:

Dear Mother, Father, and family,

Sam and I are training for this event that deals with destroying
the Death Star. The training course, created by the Asgards,
has been tough. They are the only ones who could give us the
best training since they know these Ubaids better than anyone.
