As Ituor and Sam were heading back to the Academy,
he said to her,
"Whoever destroyed the Bowers' home, I believe the Dark-side
is behind it. A moment ago, I was using the Force to see the
future, for Jerry, about their safety and well-being, and I didn't
see this at all. I think the Jedi need to be on the alert. Only the
Dark-side can cloud things."

"I'll talk with Brandon myself,"
Sam said.

As they reached the Jedi Academy, Ituor went over to Jerry, and Sam went over to Brandon and Hothok.

Since Hothok sensed something was wrong, she stopped the duel and asked Sam,
"What is the matter?"

She told everything that was told to her.

"I see that the Dark-side is acting just like the terrorists on Earth,
a bunch of cowards."
He paused and continued,
"Sam, I believe that they will be safer here for the time being
until the Jedi can get a grip on this,"
Brandon said.

"We agree with you. Ituor and I were saying the same thing,"
Jerry said, his voice steady but carrying the weight of their shared loss.

Brandon and his father turned to each other, their eyes reflecting the pain of seeing their home reduced to ruin. Without hesitation, they embraced tightly, seeking comfort in the only certainty left — their bond.

"We'll make it through this,"
Jerry murmured, his voice thick with both determination and sorrow.
Pulling back slightly, he placed a reassuring hand on his son's shoulder.
"I'll have General Davis contact North Hall High School and take
care of our absence. You stay here, focus on your training.
I'll be with the rest of our family."

Brandon nodded, swallowing the lump in his throat. Though the weight of uncertainty pressed heavily on him, he clung to his father's words, drawing strength from them.

Samantha took a slow breath, steadying herself, forcing down the sorrow that threatened to rise. She had to be strong — for Brandon, for Jerry, for all of them.

"There is nothing you can do about what has happened,"
she said, her voice calm but laced with an undertone of restrained grief.
"Jack and I will take a team over to assess the damage,
to see if there's anything the SGC might have missed."
Her hands tightened into fists at her sides before she exhaled,
forcing herself to focus.

"For now, Tumok and Hothok will stay with you in your
Jedi training. Remember, Jedi Knights are your family,"
she reminded them, her gaze lingering on Brandon. She wanted
to shield him from this pain, but she knew that was impossible.

She swallowed hard and continued, her tone firm yet gentle.
"We'll take care of everything with North Hall High School.
You don't need to speak with General Davis — your place is here,
with your family."

Her words were resolute, but deep inside, she carried a heavy ache. She had lost much, endured more than most could comprehend, and now she watched Brandon face his own devastation. A part of her wanted to pull him close, to protect him from the suffering ahead, but she knew he had to walk this path. Just as she had.

Jerry thanked them all and left.

While Sam went to collect Jack to tell him what happened, Hothok collected Tumok, so Brandon could concentrate more on his training than on the horrors of the recent event.

"I see now how important Brandon to be a full Jedi Knight.
I'm thrilled that your family came with you. I know that
you and your parents have lost everything in the house, but the
most valuable thing is all of you,"
Tumok said.

Brandon clenched his fists, his body tense with a storm of emotions he barely contained. His chest tightened, the weight of uncertainty pressing down on him. His home was gone. His family was scattered. And now, the threat loomed closer than ever.
