11: Josh & Tyler

"Hey, Josh?", Tyler asked while the two were still hugging. Josh shifted a bit before replying.

"Yeah?"

"Have you been to the treehouse..?"

"Oh, actually, that has to do with why I'm here."

"Oh?"

"Yeah", Josh started and sighed a bit as he thought of last night and how worried he was. "Your brother messaged me that you had gone missing and I checked from the treehouse, and then I fell asleep there."

"Oh, y-yeah", Tyler muttered, ashamed of himself. He had had a fit in the forest and left there without telling anyone. He should've told Zack. "I actually was i-in a forest.."

"Why? Did you stay there the whole night?", Josh asked, moving so that he could see Tyler's face. He blushed a bit at how close they were, but Tyler didn't seem to realize.

"Yeah, I fell asleep kind of", Tyler mumbled and looked at Josh. His eyes were still bright and beautiful, and he was so close. He tried not to blush at the thought.

"I got worried when my messages didn't deliver and I left for a walk, then Zack messaged me", Josh explained and closed his eyes for a moment. "I gotta admit my back hurts, though."

Tyler chuckled a bit and pulled Josh closer to himself. Josh smiled into Tyler's chest. "Tyler?"

"Yeah?", Tyler asked, frowning at the realization Josh was calling him by his full name.

"Are you dating someone?"

"H-huh..?"

"Like do you have someone..?"

"Y-yeah I know what you mean, but why..?"

"Just wondering", Josh explained. "Since we haven't really talked in a while."

"Oh, well", Tyler answered, a bit sad by the reason. "I'm not, but I like someone."

"Who is it? I bet it's some nice girl, isn't it?", Josh asked, causing Tyler to blush a bit. Luckily Josh's face was against his chest and he couldn't see his face. "Is it that Jenna?"

"N-no, actually."

"Well, who is it then?"

"Just this one person."

"C'monnn, tell me!", Josh begged, looking up at Tyler's flustered face. "You're blushing, Tyler Joseph."

"Shut u-up", Tyler whined and looked at Josh.

"Not before you tell me."

"I won't."

Josh pouted like a little child, and Tyler poked out his tongue. "I'm gonna pull that tongue out if you don't stop and tell me."

"What the hell, Josh?", Tyler laughed, and Josh just looked at him with a serious expression.

"Just even tell me what class she's in..?"

"Well, he is in most classes I'm in", Tyler answered, some annoyance in his voice. Josh looked at him with a puzzled look on his face. "What, Joshy?"

"He?"

Tyler just nodded, and Josh was surprised. Was Tyler gay? What?

"Y-you're gay..?"

"Mhm", Tyler nodded again.

"How'd you realize?"

"Because of the guy I like."

"Oh, alright", Josh mumbled and thought of who Tyler could possibly like that was in most of his classes. "It's actually the same for me."

"Oh?"

"Yeah, I like this one guy", Josh explained. Tyler looked interested, and Josh continued. "He's so sweet and pretty, but I know I have no chance with him."

"That sucks", Tyler said, biting his lip. Josh nodded and pressed his head against Tyler's chest again. "I might have a chance with the guy, but I don't know."

"Hey, I have an idea", Josh mumbled.

"Mhm?"

"Ask the guy out."

"That's a horrible idea, Josh!"

"Well, if you like him, and you think you might have a chance with him, then do it."

"Maybe sometime later."

"Do you have his phone number?"

"Y-yeah..why?"

"I can send him a message from you", Josh excitedly explained. "I'll be your cupid or whatever."

"N-no, I'll d-do it myself", Tyler stuttered hesitantly. "But not now."

"Yes now."

"Josh. No."

"Why not?"

"Because I'm w-with you right n-now."

"You're lying, Ty. You're nervous, aren't you?"

Fine. Yes, he was. But he didn't want Josh to know that. "N-no."

"You always stutter when you're nervous."

"Just stop, please.."

Silence fell for a moment.

"Okay.."
