Josh was a nervous wreck, and the same could be said of Tyler. Both of them were getting ready for their date at their own houses, wondering what to wear and how to act. Tyler had told Josh to be ready by seven p.m., and when Josh had tried to fish for some more information Tyler refused to talk about it, claiming it was going to be 'so sick', but he couldn't tell more because he had to get to class. And so Josh had shrugged it off and continued his day normally. Just as Josh was pulling his shirt he finally picked after three hours of choosing and nearly going insane on, his phone started ringing. He recognized it as Tyler, seeing as the ringtone he had for him was a recording of Tyler singing some song by Radiohead. Josh tried to reach for his phone, shirt blocking most of his view, resulting in him falling down onto his floor, cursing and groaning in pain. He pulled the shirt down completely before finally grabbing his phone and answering Tyler.

"Josh? Why'd you take so long?"

"I fell down, I was just putting my shirt on."

"Are you alright?"

"Yeah, I'm fine."

"Good. Sucks that I missed you being shirtless, though."

Silence.

"C'mon, just joking. Are you ready to go?"

"Yeah, are you?"

"Yeah, I'll pick you up in five minutes, okay?"

"Okay, bye."

"Bye."

God, that had to be the longest five minutes of Josh's life by far. It felt as though time had been to space as a whole, not aging. Yeah, that was a bad metaphor, but whatever. Josh was more than relieved when he heard a car pull up in his driveway. He listened as the car door got slammed shut, and steps approached the door. And then the doorbell rang. Josh practically pulled the door off its hinges as he opened it.

"Tyler!", Josh exclaimed as he threw himself into the boy's arms. "I'm about to burst!"

"Aww, calm down, will you", Tyler chuckled, hugging Josh back. Josh tried to not squeal and jump up and down. He was so excited. He was going on a date with Tyler Joseph. He felt so surreal and giddy it was unreal.

"I'm sorry, I'm just so excited", Josh said, and Tyler smiled widely.

"Why're you so excited?"

"Because it's you."

"What do you mean with that?"

"I'm going on a date with Tyler Joseph", Josh exclaimed, causing Tyler to blush slightly. "I can barely believe it."

"I'm flattered", Tyler chuckled and grabbed Josh's hand. "Let's go now, alright?"

"Yeah", Josh smiled, closed the door and followed Tyler to his car. "Where are we going?"

"To this one cool place, just wait", Tyler said, opening the passenger side door for Josh, waiting for him to get in. Josh climbed in, and Tyler walked to the driver's side, got in and started the car. "Feel free to take the aux-cable."

"I don't have any good music", Josh said shyly. "Or music you'd like."

"Just put something, I'm not picky", Tyler smiled and drove off from the driveway and into the soft darkness of the starting night. Josh fiddled with his phone before finally plugging the cord in it. He searched for a good song and ended up putting one of U2's album to play. He watched as Tyler started tapping the steering wheel with his fingers, matching the beat of the song.
