"Dammit, Gandalf!"

"You have to keep up, (Y/N). Don't give up!" It's been 12 months since Gandalf started training me, I needed my time before starting the long journey I was about to take, even if it was against my grandmother's wishes. Yeah... None of my family knew about this.

The bow was my forte, tho I still tried the sword and even the axe, I always failed when I tried to defend myself with them, so no. Thank you. I will stay with the bow, which was from my grandfather.

Gandalf says that I have done more in months than him in years, when he was still afraid he said.

I can control light just like him, but he said that Galadriel's brother had several very curious magical powers and I still couldn't control them all correctly, I thought that elves didn't have that kind of magic, and in the book, there's nothing about it either. The worse thing is that Gandalf doesn't want to tell me anything.

I fell to the ground as Gandalf used his magic on me, I sighed in exhaustion and stayed there to regain air. "For the record, I'm not giving up... I'm just... Getting air." The wizard smiled and gave me a bottle of water. While I drank, Gandalf sat on a rock and looked at the horizon, I got up and walked to him. "Is everything alright?"

"Yes yes, I was just wondering. Would you like to come with me today?" Is he... Is he serious? "To Middle Earth? Today?" He nodded and chuckled at my joyful expression, I laughed and jumped in excitement. "Where are we going??" Gandalf opened a map and signaled to a place named The Shire. "The Shire? Hobbiton? Are we really going to see hobbits?" The wizard nodded and got up and took his staff. "We are going to reclute our burglar." I grabbed my bow and looked at him. "You mean for the secret mission with the dwarves?"

"Yes." He stopped and looked at me. "What's with the long face, (Y/N)?" I was nervous, I have to admit that. "I'm... I do not think that I'm ready Gandalf. There is a possibility that we will find monster along the way and--"

"You are not alone, I will be there and I'm sure that everyone will protect you. But do not forget that you are coming to meet your relatives and along the way, learn to control your magic if it's necessary." I considered the words and nodded.

"Anyway, thanks for the clothes, Gandalf. Where did you buy them?" I walked next to him. "I asked it to be made just for you. It will grant you flexibility when you need to."

We started walking further into the mountains, everytime I turned around I could see the farm even farther and farther away, we were already next to enormous trees and the birds and savage rabbits were lurking around. It's beautiful, I have never been to this part of the forest and I feel lucky. "Don't you get tired of walking such a distance?" I asked Gandalf, it surprises me actually, being over 2000 years old and still being capable of walk kilometers.

"I am still very capable of doing things, (Y/N). I told you this many times, do not doubt a wizard." I kept silent as we continued walking. "Of course not... Sorry..." He hummed back.

Suddenly, Gandalf stopped in front of me and I almost hit his back with my head. "We're here." I stepped next to him and gasped at the size of the entrance, we walked closer to the door and Gandalf examined the chains. "Destroyed. The Orcs that assaulted me?" The wizard nodded and opened the door for us. "Yes, I hope that does were the only Orcs passing. (Y/N)." I look at Gandalf and he pointed at the chains. "You want me to..?" He nodded. "I can't just do that, I don't know how to."

"Practice makes the warrior. Do not be afraid of humiliating yourself, even less if you don't know." I looked at the destroyed chains and crouch in front of them. "Let the magic flow out of you." I made a big effort and for a second I felt it, but it vanished quickly, I couldn't help but tear up at my disappointing try. Gandalf's hand touched my shoulder. "(Y/N). Look at the chains."

I looked at the chains and the image in front of me made my heart thump, they were suspended in the air.

"I knew that your magic was powerful, but this is beyond what I've had imagined." Gandalf smiled as I cleaned my tears. I looked closer at the chains and united every piece to finally put it around the metal door, closing it successfully. "I don't know how..."

"You felt it, (Y/N). Practice whenever you see a chance." I sighed deeply and nodded, I followed Gandalf more into the cave, the darkness had engulfed us and we couldn't see anything, the wizard blew to his wand and soon we had light enough to see our path. "Be careful where you step." I nod and watched the ground not fall.

Still, I tripped on a little rock and slide down the cave while hearing Gandalf screaming for me, I regained my balance and looked in front of me, the cave was more like a palace beneath the small mountains. I felt Gandalf's presence behind me and I looked at him while smiling impressed. "Did men constructed this place?"

Gandalf nodded and walked in front of me and I followed him soon after. "We can't stay here for long, the Orcs may have taken over this place." I stared at him. "Does weren't the only ones?"

"Does are never the only ones, (Y/N). The Orcs always come like a herd." Dammit, I should have known, but of course, I always think that everything will be okay if it's obvious that it won't. We ran as fast as we could to cross the endless walls, but it was late to think that we were safe as we heard a battle cry behind us, I looked behind me to see a small herd of Orcs running at us.

I grabbed my bow and started shooting arrows at them, successfully killing as most I could, I turned my eyes to see Gandalf in front of a door with symbols. "Gandalf! There's too many of them for me to deal alone!" They are getting near! Oh god, help me!

I ran back to Gandalf while killing Orcs, my heart thumping in fear. "(Y/N)!" I looked at the wizard next to me and see the symbols shining in my proximity, finally, the door traced a line indicating that a door is there and can be opened and I helped Gandalf to push it open, finally feeling the sun hit my skin as we ran outside. I stopped running and opened my eyes to stare at the amazing scenery in front of me.

I sighed as I watched the beautiful landscape, this is truly Middle Earth, it is the same but at the same time so different

I sighed as I watched the beautiful landscape, this is truly Middle Earth, it is the same but at the same time so different. It looks more... Alive. So much more alive than my world. I felt a hand touching my shoulder, Gandalf smiled while looking at the scenery. "(Y/N) (L/N). Welcome to Middle Earth, the home of your ancestors, and if you like, yours too." I chuckled softly as I couldn't stop watching the nature around me.

"Yeah, maybe someday." Who knows, right?
