I woke up the next day on my floor and sighed as I sat up. I had fainted from stress yesterday, nothing new.

Suddenly there was a tapping at my window, causing me to look up and see my owl Charlie. There was a letter tied to his leg.

I opened the window and Charlie landed on my small writing desk as I untied the letter from his leg.

I then turned the letter over and screamed with excitement when I saw where the letter came from. This caused Nik, who looked like he was still getting dressed since his dress shirt was still half unbuttoned.

"What's wrong!? Did uncle do something!?" He exclaimed.

All I did was show him the letter and a wide smile spread across his face before he handed the letter back to me.

I opened the letter and quickly read it over. I squealed and jumped up and down.

"I got accepted!" I squealed. The letter was my acceptance letter to Hogwarts. It said that I had one week to get my supplies before the school year would start.

Nikolaus smiled brightly and ran to his room before coming back and handed me a small backpack. I opened the bag and saw a bunch of gold coins.

"They're galleons. You will need them for buying your supplies. Hagrid had opened your vault in Gringotts when he opened mine." Nik said.

Shock was clearly written all over my face. "We need to go now!" I all but yelled. Nik just laughed and smiled.

"If you want to go now you need to put on some clean clothes." He smiled.

I nodded and shoved him out of the room so I could change my clothes. I opened my closet and grabbed a pair of gray skinny jeans and a blue Yale hoodie. I pulled off my current jeans and hoodie before pulling on the clean ones. And no, I didn't put on underwear because I don't own any, call me gross for it but my aunt and uncle have never bought me any. My uncle's favorite form of punishment is to make me serve him (think what you will about how he makes me serve him) in only a slightly long shirt and no bottoms, of course he does this when my brother isn't home.

I opened the door after grabbing the backpack of galleons and walked out of my room. Nik was leaning against the wall next to the door. He smiled at me and took my pale hand in his larger tan one.

We then walked downstairs, Nik made sure that I made it down the stairs without fainting. We walked past my uncle who growled and grabbed my arm roughly.

"What was all that noise slut." He sneered.

I whimpered quietly and looked down. Nik just pulled me out the front door instead. I stumbled slightly and caught up to his long strides. His grip on my hand had gotten tighter and rougher. I could feel the anger radiating off of him. I looked around and saw that we were in the heart of London.

Before I could even notice where we particularly were, Nik pulled me into a building and dragged me to the back. He mumbled something that I couldn't quite hear and the wall in front of us began to move.

My eyes went wide as the wall was fully out of the way and I saw the colorful street in front of us.

"Welcome to Diagon Alley." Nik said, anger still seething through him.

I bit my lip and nodded. His grip had tightened more and he pulled me to the side, behind one of the shops.

"Only go to shops that have what you need for school, then you will meet me outside Gringotts. Got it?" He slightly snapped.
