Halo instantly hugged my tightly.
"OH MY GOD ARE YOU OKAY ARE YOU HURT LET ME SEE YOUR SHOULDER!"
I blushed a bit, I'll admit it.
He instantly said "Oh thank god it's just a scratch did he hurt your side?"
"N-no, Halo, I'm good." I said, shaky.
"Why didn't you kill him?!" Asked Dominic.
"Because..." I couldn't explain.
"She couldn't do it." Gwen Said.
"She is obviously not completely darkened if she cannot kill."
"True." Said Angel, who smiled emptily at me.
I looked at her for a good while, and she looked away. It's like we had a conversation with our eyes, but neither of us knew what was said.
"I'll say," Rebecca started, "We have a leader with good qualities."
Then she mumbled something about how she would've been better. Even though I didn't hear her, I knew.
Halo was still hugging me.
I eventually hugged back.
He let go.
"I-I'm sorry." He laughed.
"No, it's fine. Let's go home. We'll talk about the storm later. Since it's apparently not summoning darkened at the moment."
Me and Halo walked home, but the rest wanted to stay and discuss the storm.

When we got there, Halo said he has a change of clothes. I put it on, and it was very comfortable. I also got a pair of jeans, but I knew I'd never wear them. I hate jeans.
The shirt had nothing on it, it was simply black.
I kept wearing my grey sweatpants.
Halo offered to buy me clothes, and he didn't let me say no.
He told me to sit and watch TV. For a place that seemed pretty old-timey, I was surprised there was a TV.

I woke up after falling asleep to some TV show, by Halo opening the door. He had a few bags on him, and he said that he had a whole wardrobe for me.
After lunch, we walked over to the Town Hall to talk about what is gonna happen.

"Alright, so we went over it," Liam started,
"And You, Dawn, Gwen and Angel are going.
"What? Why me?" All of of us said unanimously.
"That's why. You both get along well. And, let's be honest, all of you are probably the strongest people here. And we only have the power to send four at a time.
"Wait, where are we going?" I asked.
"Into the Storm."
"What?!"
"You are going to the core, where you should be sent into the Dark Realm."
"... no..."
"What?"
"I don't wanna go back!"
I started to break down.
Halo came over and calmed me down.
"If she doesn't want to, she doesn't have to."
"But she does, she's out only hope!"
Those words only made me feel worse.
"Calm down, calm down..." Halo soothed.
"I-D-Don't..." I muttered.
"Shhh, calm down... it's okay, you don't have to..."
"But-" Liam was interrupted.
"HUSH."
Everyone was awkwardly looking at each other.
I eventually calmed down. "Okay... okay... okay... I'll go..."
"You don't have to..."
"But I want to."
"Okay... okay..."
Halo seemed to understand why I was so upset, but he didn't know at all. He knew nothing
Liam started, "Alright, it's settled. Dawn Drew, Angel King, Broken Halo and Gwendolyn Bogdon will set out tomorrow, and we'll guard the town."
