I woke up on the ground, Halo was staring into the fire, and something as off about him. I got up, and my vision decided to just give up. I fell, and Halo looked over, and basically started crying, for what I could hear.
He hugged me tightly, and said something about life sucking and things.
I later gained full consciousness, and then I knew what was off.
His halo was fading. Certain parts of it looked grayish.
I sat up. "Be careful, I don't want you knocked out again." He said.
"Where are the rest of..." He looked at me with a look that I never thought he could give.
"Oh..." I said.
I didn't know what to say. We were still in The Inbetween. Gwen and Angel were gone, somehow... life sucked.
I wanted to go back. I don't want to be here anymore.
I sat and stared at the fire, and I noticed something. There was a flower...
A brilliant, yellow flower, not phased at all by the fire it's literally directly in.
I was still in the Darkened Realm. I'm being deceived.
I'm being lied to.
I got up, perfectly stable. "Where-What?" He asked in gibberish.
I shoved my hand in the heatless fire and tore out the flower.
I wonder what came to me to think that the flower was the cause of the reality.
But I was right.
