"Let's get to the point, eh, darkened?"
My breathing became unsteady. . . "I-Is... How?" I slowly turned around. . .
Israel stood in a leather jacket, under it a striped, blue and a darker shade on the stripes, and ripped jeans, with black Vans on. He dyed his hair red. He had a golden trident in his hand, and the tips showed no dulling.
"Where are your FRIENDS?" He began to laugh, and when I turned around, they weren't there.
"What did you do with them?!" I felt my state of mind change. I slowly became Dusk again.
"Why, I didn't do anything. They ran." He said, with a smile that sent a chill down my spine.
"I don't believe you. . ." My voice was shaky.
"Little Girl, I didn't come here to talk," He said, pretending to be sweet. "I came to FIGHT." He said, his voice going deeper, in ways that shouldn't be humanly possible.
He threw his trident at me, and it glistened in the air. I dodged, and it followed. Out of surprise, I was forced to take the hit. It clinked against the little, white heart on my chest. I looked down, and felt a horrible, sharp pain. It was fractured. I collapsed, immobile. Israel laughed at me, and slowly walked up to me, to pick up his trident. "WEAK SPOT." He wasn't himself. Something changed him. He lifted the trident, and was about to thrust it into what was left of the heart, and I wasn't thinking about how I wasn't destabilizing. "Any Last Words..?" He said menacingly.
"Y-... yeah..." I was smiling, but he couldn't see. I was Dusk. "You can't kill me." I said, with a small scoff.
He instantly jabbed in down into the heart, HARD. I froze as I felt my heart split in two. The pain was indescribable. Imagine what labor is like, if you didn't go through it. Now multiply it by 10.
I coughed, somehow, and slowly, got up to my feet. The pain hurt way too much, but I knew what I had to do. Rage was flooding into my body. "B-but... your heart..." I took the time to look at it. It was split in two. I shouldn't even be here. "Yeah..." My voice was shaking, still. I stumbled to my feet, and stood as close to his face as I could. "I'm not a darkened. . ." I raised my arm in the air, afraid of what I could do next. I wasn't in control, rage was. Rage seemed to know more than me.
I knelt, hitting the ground with my hand. Israel looked up, and a barrage of spears came down at him. There was no way of dodging, so he simply braced himself. The pain still lingered, getting worse by the second. I didn't know how much longer I could hold on.
For a whole minute, spears came at him. But then, when I got up, he simply laughed it off. He stood, and put the spear to my heart again. "NOW, you die..."
And it went black. . .
But I refused. . .
I opened my eyes. I stared him in the eyes. He was truly stunned, and I'd figure out why later.
"W-who... ARE YOU?"
"I am the Heart of a Goner." I no longer felt anger, rage, or anything, really. I felt calm, and almost as if someone was telling me what to do.
"B-But..." I didn't give them time to react, and I fired. What fired was a laser, a white one. He dodged, and I just fired another, and he was blown back by it, but other than that, wasn't phased by it. He threw his trident, and I just reversed it using what seemed like the ability to change gravity for one object. He returned it, and it went back and firth, faster and faster, until eventually, he got hit by it, directly in the chest. He froze, and he just started to fade away. He spoke a few words, I wasn't able to exactly hear. It went like this.
"You can't kill me..."
And they were gone.
