I woke up, dissatisfied by finding myself lying in a pile of dead pine needles. I was hoping to be back home by now.
I brushed myself off, and found I was still Dusk. Because yes.
I walked into the woods, now daylight. I was pretty hungry by then, and a bit scared. Was I ever going to get back?

I walked for a good 5 minutes before I froze.

There was a Darkened Wolf, standing there, looking right at me.

In case you didn't get it by this point, it's a midnight black wolf with white, glowing eyes. They stared into my eyes, and we just stared. I think he was scared too.
After a good several minutes of staring, I took one step forward, and they move back a bit.
"Calm down... I-I won't hurt you..." I said.
They stood normally and took a step forward.
I didn't mow what to do. I  laid down, not moving. They eventually came over to sniff me, and then went away. I sat up, and they came back with a stick. And they dropped it on the ground.

I grabbed the grayscale stick and threw it, and he want after it. I laughed to myself a little bit. I always loved dogs...
I always loved dogs.

We played fetch for a while. It was a peaceful morning, for a gray forest.
I pet them while sitting, looking into the tree-ridden distance. We bonded, somehow. It was nice, until I realized I was hungry. And I think they were hungry, too.

We seemed to both know what each other were doing. I walked on, and he sniffed in a direction. In two seconds, I shot a spear, and we were having rabbit for breakfast.

I spent an hour setting up a stupid hard cooking setup. After a while if roasting and hunger pains, we got to eat. And apparently rabbit it delicious.

I got up and stretched. It was gonna be a long day. I looked at them in the eyes. I had to check their gender so I could name them...

Their name is Molly.

We played tug on a stick for a while. Eventually I got bored. She seemed a bit tired, but could probably still play for hours. So, I decided to go for a walk.

After around an hour, we found an opening, and stopped there. There was a little flower directly in the center, which I found a bit odd, but nothing special. It was a golden flower, basically a lightbulb in this place. I looked at it, and then I felt disturbed, as if it looked familiar.

I covered it with dead pine needles. I didn't want to look at the amazing flower.

I sat down, and looked at Molly. She was looking in the distance. Molly didn't know, but I somehow did, I knew I was gonna go back tonight. I didn't know what to say. I pet them, calling them a good girl, and she left for 5 five minutes. She came back with a deer in his mouth.

We ate the deer for lunch and dinner.
Venison tastes really good.

The rest of the time, we just sat by a fire, and I pet Molly throughout the night.

Eventually darkness surrounded us, like night is around here. I decided to lay down in another pile of dead pine needles, and Molly lay next to me.

I didn't want to doze off. I wanted to say up. I didn't want to get up, I wanted to lay down.

Eventually, I tricked myself into falling asleep. How, I do not know.
