I found myself back in the Dark Aerpei Town.
I got out of bed, and I was Dusk, with no heart anymore.
I rubbed my practically nonexistent eyes. I was completely exhausted.
I eventually just walked out and played routine, toward the center. Generally just aggravated at this point.
I walk in, and then there's The Dark General.
It's about time I could assess him.
He had a gray hoodie on, and his skin was grayer. Wait... no, A darker shade .
His eyes were so colorful, it's hard to look away from them. His eyes basically glowed blue in the colorless town.
He wore ripped jeans and black sneakers, or whatever I didn't really care.
"Come, take a seat." He grinned.

"So, why am I here?" I asked rudely.
"Your here to make your decision." He said. "Are you with us, or with them?"
I don't know why he asked.
"It's clear your the bad guy. Why would I want to?" I said, somewhat aggressively.
"Well, because there's a horrible fate lying at the end of your journey. But is avoidable..." He smirked.
"You just have to join us."

"I'd rather die that death." I stated.
"Your choice. But don't think this is over..." He said calmly.
"We do have a plan. It's still underway."
I ignored this.

I excused myself and walked out. That's when I realized:
I'm still here.
Usually by know I'd be gone.
Oh well, I decided. I'll just train
And that I did.
I went out in the pine forest, the air smelling of nothing. I fired spears at random trees and branches cut clean off.
I sat on a rock and began to think of strategies.
I really liked that spear idea. You know, the one I used against Nova? Kinda reminds me of one of my favorite characters from a video game.
Wait.
"I remembered something!" I shouted happily. I shot spears everywhere, enjoying myself, in a good mood.
Eventually, it became darker out.
And now I was lost.
Lost in this dark wood.
And it was getting cold, too.
"Okay... okay, I'll be fine. There's fire starters, fire fuel... I-I can work with this!" I said nervously.
I gathered the dead pine needles to expose the dirt. I then lay some out in an area I circled with rocks. At this point I was getting a bit chilly.
I quickly gathered sticks and threw it in there. Nothing colored, it just looked like a pile of gray junk. I found a large log and then tried to imagine an axe.
It came, completely black, just like every other thing related in any way to Darkened. I started cutting it to where they can be applicable to the fire.
I was exhausted, but I eventually gained enough to keep it up for the night. I didn't have an urge to sleep.
It was getting horribly dark and cold.
I barely found my way to the camp site before it turned completely dark.
I made two broadswords, and scraped them together. It eventually sparked enough so that something lit. I put a little more dead pine needles over it, and it seemed to go out.
But it sprinted back to life.
The fire was gray, but it still lit the place up.
I was shivering at this point, so I sat close to the fire and tried to warm up the best as I could.
I eventually got tired of sitting on dirt, so I lit a stick and wrapped an end with dirt so it wouldn't catch. I walked into the woods with a probably ineffective makeshift torch.
I found a rock, and then realized I didn't want to sit on a rock. I also realized I didn't want to be out here.
I realized my best bet was to gather dead pine needles for a bed.
I walked over, and then just pushed a bunch of pine needles into an area with my foot. I threw the makeshift torch into the fire, and lay down.

Honestly it was surprisingly comfortable.

I couldn't sleep, and now it's become extremely dark, you couldn't see anything beyond this clearing. Only thing allowing me to see anymore is a fire.

Paranoia kicked in, and I thought I was seeing glowing eyes. I thought I saw outlines of things. I didn't know what to do. I just curled up at the fire in my pine needle bed.

Eventually, I learned that I wasn't seeing things. Well, I was-
You get the point.

A Darkened came out, and they were male. Their eyes were also white. He looked at me in surprise. I jumped back and almost fell into the fire.

It went something like this.

"W-Who are you?" He said to me.
"Who are you?!" I responded, accomplishing nothing.
"... are you normal?" He asked.
"... yeah... I am..." I responded.
"So maybe he is going to use you instead."
"You mean the Dark General?"
By this point he sat with me.
"Yeah yeah, him." He responded.
"Wait, where do you live?" I asked.
"I live in UK."
"U...K...?" I didn't understand.
"United Kingdom... do you not know what that is?"
"Umm... I like in Aerpei Town. The Good one."
"Hold on, your telling me there's a good one, and that you don't know what real places are?"
"Is... is this place not real?" I was scared.
He looked into the fire.
"I don't know." He said dully.
"... I don't remember anything." I said, my voice cracking up.
He looked at me. "Oh, I'm so sorry..."
"I-I don't know... m-my family anymore... w-who is my family..." There were tears in my eyes. Thinking now, I wonder what that looks like in Darkened form.
He put his hand on my shoulder. "It must be terrible."
I broke down. I didn't pay attention to what he was saying, just bawling my eyes out. I felt the fire dying down. I think he went to get more, and by the time he had come back, I calmed down.

"Um... so, how'd you get here?" I asked.
"I was lost, wandering through the woods, trying not to run into trees, I saw light, and followed." He answered.

"What's your name?" He asked.
"... It's... Dawn..." I said quietly.
"My name is Isaac." He said.
"Let's hope we meet again. I'm going to go to sleep."
"Oh... okay." I said mumbled.
"Goodnight Isaac."
"Goodnight Dawn."
I sat there, and he eventually faded away while sleeping.
After I felt alone. Empty. Cold. Afraid.

I stared at the fire. Fire always interested me...
Fire always interested me.
Fire did always interest me.

I put my hands together, and focused on them. It set my hands on fire. The fire was black though. It's hard to explain...
Imagine fire.
Good.
Imagine it black.
Good.

I sprayed fired for a while, laughing. It was fun. It made roaring noises. It was so cool. I loved it. I forgot about how sad I was.

Eventually, I knocked out.
