I slowly opened my eyes to Halo, he asleep, camping and asleep on the hard ground. His fire consists of decaying cactus.

I got up, and I was laying on a blanket... why?

Would Halo really let an unconscious person sleep on a blanket and force himself to sleep on the hard ground?

I was regular Dawn. I got up, and sat. It looked like the sun was rising.

The fire was colored. Everything else way gray, still in the dry, empty Inbetween.

I looked at Halo. He seemed to be the exact same. Nothing different at all.

Then I realized: Gwen and Angel were gone.

I got up and looked frantically, behind everything, under everything, even in irrational places.

I searched until sunrise, when I ran to camp. Halo woke up when I accidentally kicked a rock into the fire while running.

He got up drowsily. "H-huh...?" He looked at me, and then instantly woke up, ecstatic and bouncing with joy. He tackle hugged me, and didn't speak a word. I hugged him back for a while.

"So... how long was I gone?" I asked him.

"About 8 hours." He answered.

"It was two days in the Darkened Realm."

"Timelines waver with dimensions and things." He explained.

"So where are Angel and Gwen?" I asked, and he went white.

"They... they never came back." He said quietly.

I looked down, unable to take this in. Why? Where'd they go?

"So... they're..." I hesitated.

"They're missing. I-I'm sure they're alive..." Halo said, "Just lost."

I just sat, defeated. I looked into the fire. I stared, and stared, and stared. Halo sat too, staring along with me. Eventually, I broke down, and when Halo tried to comfort me in a way I can't remember, he broke down too.

We cried for a while, and then we were hungry. What were we gonna do about food?

I stood, and spotted a Darkened Bobcat. He wasn't doing anything, and he wasn't edible either.

I then spotted a regular bobcat. I fired at the bobcat with several spears. It fell, dying a quick death. Halo and I carried it back. Then we considered if we could eat it. Halo stated that he remembers eating bobcat at some exotic restaurant.

I cooked it with my new found fire power, and Halo was amazed. He didn't know what to say... so he didn't say anything.

We ate about 1/4 of it, and decided it would last us a few days. But how we would carry it was unknown.

We camped there until it was gone. We weren't wasting food.

Nothing interesting happened besides conversation. Nothing too important. I told him about Isaac, the other Darkened, and Molly. He told me about the end of the time, when I fainted. Nothing special. (But if you want Fenion can help you outttt)

After several days, we ran out, and there was no animal in sight. Halo suggested we set out, and we had to, of course.

So after setting out, we just talked. Nothing better to do, and nothing special happened. We just talked. I don't know how in the world we didn't run out of things to talk about. We just kept going. From limes and whether or not they taste good to whether or not they exist.

We found another bobcat, and killed it for meal. We camped and ate for the rest of the day, and set out at night. We couldn't stay idle for long. We, eventually, found something interesting.
