The car ride is fairly long, and boring. I've made good friends with the car driver, though. After about 5 and a half hours, we're at the place. My new home. I go right to the doors, leaving all of my stuff for the driver.
I look up. This place is breathtaking. It's huge!!! I squeal with excitement.
And, at that moment, I forget all about my mother.
The driver comes around me and pushes the doors open. I walk down a long hallway, when suddenly a woman appears.
"Hello!" She practically screams.
"Hi..." I say, maybe this school is weird.
"Oh you're going to have such fun here at Cranket Prep."
"Yeah, it seems pretty nice."
The driver holds out my bags for me, I accept them and walk into the lady's office. I set the bags down on the floor and sit in a seat adjacent to hers. She babbles on for almost an hour, about the school and how wonderful it is. I yawn, and she gasps.
"Oh! How sorry I am! I have bored you and you must to terribly tired!"
"Yeah, kinda." I thought.
"Uuuuuh no," I said.
"Let's go to your room now! We can do the grand tour tomorrow."
Grand tour?
