I continued to stare as the boy was reading something in one of the comfy-looking chairs. He was reading a book, but suddenly looking up. I looked up too, to see a glass roof. About 20 more floors up. And I was already on the 12th floor. Then the boy turned his head and looked at me, we made eye contact for one second. Then I ran back to my door. I didn't want to risk him seeing me spying on him again, but I peeked over the ledge anyway. He was still looking up at me, smiling. I was about to smile back but I felt too shy. I headed back to my room even though I was already ready.
The strange lady came by to get me a few minutes later.
"Oh! There you are!" She said, as if she hadn't seen me in forever.
"Umm hi?"
"Let's give you that grand tour!" She rushed me out the door.
The next 4 hours considered of a very detailed tour. DETAILED. It got very boring after a while, then a cool room would pop up and spark my attention again. Then we came to a door marked "Park." I immediately wanted to go inside, but the lady hurried me on to the next room.
"I'm going to have to go exploring when she leaves me alone." I thought to myself.
"And that concludes the tour." She said, after leading me back to my room.
"Your first class starts tomorrow at 8. Don't be late." She warned.
