Claire pulls me into the hall and leaves the two boys alone in the bubble room.
"Look, I know that I've been a jerk to you for the last couple days, but you don't have to go and date Matt. Kamila, you're awesome, and you don't need a guy to prove that."
"But what I said is true." I insist.
"Even after he cheated?"
"Yes."
"Well, then I support you completely."
"Really?"
"Of course."
"This is why you're my best friend." I say, and give her a hug.We return to the room and find the two boys, awkwardly sitting far away from each other on opposite sides of the room. I walk out to Matt, and Claire goes to Jake.
"I'm sorry for saying that. I didn't mean to say anything to make you uncomfortable." I say.
"No, you didn't." He assures me.
"It's okay, because I didn't want to be the one to say it first." He whispers in my ear. I smile and give him a hug.I look over to Claire and Jake, making out. I'm so glad that Matt and I aren't like that. Usually. We just talked for the next hour. When Claire and Jake got up to leave, I stopped them at the door.
"Maybe we could all go out for breakfast sometime?" I say.
"Sure, how about tomorrow?" Jake asks.
I look up at Matt. He nods.
"Then it's settled." I say." We'll meet at the café at 7:00 AM for breakfast tomorrow."Jake and Claire left, while Matt and I went back to the bench. I curl up next to him and he puts his arm around me.
