As soon as the lady left, I checked my new schedule. Each class was 45 minutes long, with a 45-minute break in between each one. Sweet! I would get time to explore and (hopefully) not be late to any classes! I flopped back on the bed and looked to my bedside table. I decided to change into some more comfortable clothes, and go to that park room. Apparently at this school, you need a pass to go in the hallways. "It is confiscated at the beginning of every class and after 10:30pm." I read from the manual.
"Hah, that gives me plenty of time," I said aloud. My own voice startled me.
I rinsed off in the shower and threw on some causal clothes. I grabbed my pass off my desk and opened the door, locking it on my way out.
Once I was in the hallway I took a deep breath and tried to remember back to what floor the park room was on. I walked to the elevator and thought aloud,"Park room, park room, park room."
Suddenly the doors of the elevator closed and I was jolting upward. The elevator was voice-operated? Wow. This place really is weird.
