Back in the safety of my room, I considered making some actual friends. I have no idea what the unnamed boy is to me, but I will find out. I decided to shake it all off my mind and deal with it in the morning. For right now, I pulled out my sketchbook and flipped to a fresh page. I started with my normal outline of a human body. Then added certain characteristics to make each one different. Mom always told me to go a little more out of the box but, I liked doing things this way.
After an hour of intense sketching, I was left with a drawing of a tall boy with hazel eyes and dark amber hair. Satisfied with my work, I was able to pry myself from my desk and get to bed. After all, tomorrow is another day.
I set my alarm clock for 6:30 so that I could leisurely get ready today; yesterday I cut it a little bit too close with time. I dragged myself out of bed to come to my dresser. Opening the drawers with no strength whatsoever, I was able to pull out a shirt and pants. After I dressed myself, I went to the mirror. Something didn't look right. I mean, I wear these types of clothes every day but today I was feeling more, out of the box.
I opened all the drawers and pulled out interesting outfits that I would never wear on an everyday basis. Then I went to the closet and picked out a bunch of outgoing shoes. Looking through the rack of clothes, I pulled out a dress. Gasping in my head at the gaudy pink color, I almost liked it. I pulled the dress over my head and smoothed my hair down to perfection. I looked fancy, but casual at the same time.
I look over at the clock. 7:48. I'm not doing bad on time, considering the whole fashion show in my dorm room. I grabbed my sketchbook and backpack, then went to the dining hall. I grabbed a plate and piled on the food. Apparently, fashion shows can really tire a girl out.
