Tori Blake’s POV

“I hate chu,” I snarled as I snatched the stupid crew uniform.

“Don’t worry, it fits perfectly on you. Now you just have to speak in like a manly voice,” Cyrus whispered.

“Gee…ok. Har har,” I said with sarcasm.

“You can run, but you can’t hide forever,” the officer yelled.

“Mygawd, when is he gonna quit?” I said annoyingly.

Hey, boy you never had much game. Thought I needed to up—

          “Fuck,” I swore, “My phone.”

Cyrus slapped his forehead in disbelief as I fumbled to get it out of my backpack.

“Nice ringtone kids. Now where are you.”

“Give me a pen,” I whispered, “It’s Elle. I’ll call her later.”

          “Why a pen?”

          “Just do it!”

Cyrus handed me a pen and I tossed it to the other side. The police trailed after it.

Cyrus slowly opened the back door entrance when the officer turned around. I followed behind. Whew, what a relief.

          “Now what?” I questioned.

“We find Taylor. Isn’t that what we came here for.”

          “Nice outfit,” I chuckled.

“I know, you’re the dance robot woman,” Cyrus teased.

“What? I’m the one in the blue jumpsuit.”

          “Uh, no you’re not.”

We both looked down. Shit, we were dressed in different suits than the stage crew. Oh no, this couldn’t be good. This meant that we were dancers?

          “Hurry! Run!” Cyrus said.

Someone tugged us behind. I turned around. It was the officer.

“You dancers need to know that it’s not time for you guys to rush on stage yet! And while you were dressing, did ya’ll see any weirdo kids tryin’ to sneak in through that gate?” the officer said.

“No!” Cyrus and I said in unison.

“Alright, ok. Some trouble makers they are. Now get ready. You’re going on when the next song, Melt in my Soul plays. Know the routine?”

          “Uh…n-yeah!” I said.

“Yep, what she said,” Cyrus nervously pointed at me.

The officer raised an eyebrow, “Now, I’ve gotta go back to attend the booth, people are still buying tickets even when the concerts nearly over! Geez these people just don’t stop!”

The officer walked away. Wait…dance routines? Suddenly a new song started after the lead singer announced it. Other dancers did backflips onto the stage.

          “Uhhh…” I groaned.

I waddled into the center next to Cyrus and copied a few movies. What the hell. A few people in the crowd were pointing and laughing at us like geeks. I spotted Taylor. Thank god she was texting at this moment.
