Elle Damone’s POV

Holy, maybe Tori was onto me about Cyrus. But really, I didn’t want to get caught in all this. These stupid pranks I mean. What if Tori found out? Or Taylor? They’ll probably join teams and become allies to hunt me down and kill me. -_- ß my face. This wasn’t good. And who did Cyrus like? AHHHH I was dying to know.

You might be wondering why I don’t exactly want to participate in this “event”. Well, to say, I don’t really want to mess with Taylor, or even break my friendship with Tori! We were sisters and I didn’t want to lose her. And yes, I was the queen of pranks in junior high, and the pranks they played, I have got to say, were good. Specifically, Tori’s. The fake blood was for an amateur. PSHHH.

And by the way, I enjoyed sitting back and laughing at all these pranks. Oh my god, the time Taylor got pantsed? And videos were posted up on facebook. That’s kind of…funny-ish mean?

It was the next day and as I was walking to school, I saw Skid or Cyrus bike by doing a few tricks. Was he showing off to…me? I beamed at the thought of that.

Then, I heard laughter. I looked behind me and saw Tori trying to catch up to him. My grin slowly turned into a grimace. I bit my lower lip and I knew that there was NO WAY. NO WAY that Skid would be with Tori. That’d be weird. Right?

As Tori turned her head to face me, her laugh died down. She snapped her head back facing forward and continued walking emotionless.

“Tori?” Cyrus said as he hooted not knowing what was up.

He turned to his left too and saw me walking on the sidewalk…Alone. His cheeks flushed into a pinkish shade. Boys can flush to that color? Shocking. He nearly fell off his BMX bike as he pedaled to me no hands while putting on his sunglasses.

          “Hey, beautiful,” He grinned.

I was flabbergasted. Dumbstruck. Did he just call me beautiful? “Wait what?”

“Oh, uh. Sorry. Guess you don’t like it,” Skid said as he climbed off his bike rubbing his hand against the handlebars.

“Oh what? No, I didn’t clearly hear what you said,” I corrected.

I liked how he said it. Like, I meant something to him. Not just a girl. Not just a student. Not just a person. A friend. I had gotten to Base 1. I looked down hoping Tori couldn’t catch me red-faced.

“Elle?” Tori called, “Hey,” Tori said breathlessly.

I looked up, “Oh, hey. So what were you two doing?” I rose my eyebrow.

She paused in her steps, “Nothing. He was just showing me a few of his sick tricks to me. That’s all,” she shrugged.

          SHOULD I BELIEVE HER…?

“So you’re in a lot of my periods,” Skid mentioned to me.

          “Mhm, so I’ve noticed.”

Stalker…much? I was stupid. Notice? Really? So you’ve been paying attention to HIM?

“For the Spanish project, maybe we could all come over to my house,” Skid suggested.

          “S—” I started.

“GREAT!” Tori yelled pushing me aside as she stood next to him.
