Gustav heard a knock on the door and rushed to open it, knowing who it was before he even opened it. He picked the girl up in a hug. "Happy Thanksgiving!" Ivy laughed and hugged back tightly. The pink-and-black-haired boy let her go and shook Andrew's hand. They walked in--Gus closing the door--and Ivy sat on the couch while Andrew went into the kitchen to help Liza. The boy sat next to the black-haired girl. "Can you take a picture of me?"

"Yeah." Ivy took his phone and snapped the picture.

Gustav stood up and walked to the bar. "How's everything goin', mama?"

"Good. Andrew's helping me right now. If you want to help can you get the cranberry sauce out of the fridge and place it on the table. The macaroni and cheese is almost done, Andrew is working on the Turkey outside, and the stuffing is in the oven warming back up." Gustav nodded and went to the fridge and took out the cranberry sauce, hearing someone knock on the door. He placed the glass container on the wooden table and ran to answer the door but Ivy beat him so he slid into the wall since he had on socks.

"Oh hello, Ivy."

"Hi, Grandmama." Ivy hugged the fragile woman and let her past to hug her grandson. Gustav hugged her gently and helped her to the kitchen. He walked back to the couch and jumped on it next to Ivy.
