Chapter Ten: Coming Home

We meet Annie and Julianna at the train station and we look for them. I finnaly spot them. "Come on Peeta they're over here." I say taking him towards them. We walk over and Julianna screams. "MOMMY! DADDY!" she catches Peeta off guard and knocks him over. I burst out in laughter and so does Peeta. Julianna just stands up and walks over to Annie and gives her a hug. Tears threaten to spill down her face. "Ohh Annie." I say walking over to her. I give her a hug. I feel her tears on my shoulder. I pull away and wipe them away. Peeta looks at me weirdly. "Sorry. Motherly habit." I say shrugging. "Annie what's wrong?" I ask. Peeta moves closer and puts his arm around Annie. "I'm sorry I just really miss Finnick." she says trying to contain the tears long enough to get the sentence out. "Ohh no Annie. I know. I know. I miss him too." now I've started crying. Peeta looks at me and Annie and is getting teary eyed. "Well I guess Peeta should miss him the most. They did share those kisses in the arena." Annie says. I look at her kinda surprised and then look at Peeta who is trying to contain his laughter. "I can't do it anymore."He says before bursting out in laughter. His face turned as red as a tomato from holding it in and that makes me laugh. Pretty soon all 4 of us are laughing and we must look like a bunch of idiots,except for Julianna, because when we start going home everyone is staring at us. Either that or they recognize us from the games or something like that. We get home and it's 9:00. "Wow. We were gone for a while." I say "Yeah." Peeta says with a sleeping Julianna in his arms. He takes her upstairs and I follow heading to our room. I plop down on the bed and fall asleep.
