Chapter 12: The Wedding

A boy. I'm having a boy. I walk back into the waiting room smiling. "So?" Peeta asks. "I'm having a boy." I answer. "Mommy, can you send it back and get a girl?" Julianna asks "No." I answer giggling. I look at the clock. "Oh. We have to go get ready for auntie Johanna's wedding." I say and grab Julianna's hand. Peeta follows behind us as we walk to the car. I get to the car and get Julianna strapped in and notice Peeta has stopped at the door. I go back and ask hi. what's wrong. "Nothing. Just wondering what I did to get you, a beautiful daughter, and a son on the way." he answers smiling like he was in the arena that night on the beach. "Because every time I look at you I fall in love all over again." I say smiling and reaching for his hand. He allows me to take it and we walk to the car together. We get home and all take quick showers. Peeta gets dressed and walks downstairs. I get Julianna ready and she helps me zip my dress. We walk downstairs and I feel like it's my wedding day again. Peeta stands there on awe. "Wow. You look amazing." he says I look away and blush. We get in the car and go to where Johanna and John are having their wedding. We get there and take our seats. The reception is amazing. Johanna looks beautiful. We go inside for the ceremony. Johanna comes over to talk to us. "So, Katniss. What is it?" she asks "A boy." I answer "Yay. I'm getting a little guy pal." she says. The ceremony ends and Johanna and John say their goodbyes. We go home and go to sleep.
