Chapter Four: Revenge

We take Gale to the woods. He is still unconscious, which is a good thing. I have rope, pegs, a bucket of water, and meat.We put the four pegs in the ground and tie Gale to them with the rope. We set the meat around Gale and pour the water on him to wake him up. He wakes up and sees us. Then he notices he is tied down and there is meat around him. "Katniss what are you doing?" he asks. "Getting revenge." I answer. "Bye." Johanna and I say at the same time. As we walk away I toss a knife towards him and it almost stabs him in the side. "You might want to hurry up and cut yourself loose before the animals show up." I say with a smirk and Johanna and I walk back to my house. "Haymitch we're back." "Upstairs." He calls. I walk upstairs to find Haymitch and Peeta. I see Peeta and burst into tears. I run over and sit next to him on our bed. "I'm so sorry Peeta." I say. His eyes flutter open. "It's not your fault don't blame yourself.Where is gale anyway?" he says "Johanna and I took care of him it's ok." "OH NO! WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM?" "Can you walk Peeta?" "Yeah." "Follow me." "Ok." We walk to the woods and I take him to Gale. "Katniss?" "What Gale?" "Please cut me loose." "Hmmmm NO!" "Should I Peeta?" "No he deserves this. He might have killed our baby." "Katniss your pregnant?" "Yeah." "Bye Gale." says Peeta. We walk back to the house. Johanna and Haymitch stay at our house to watch and check on us." Peeta and I walk upstairs. "Night Haymitch." "Night Johanna" I say to them. "Goodnight Peeta" I say kissing him. "Goodnight Kat." he says before drifting off to sleep. I remember about Gale and slip away to go cut him loose. When I get to him he is just laying there. I cut the rope and throw the meat in a bag. "I never want to see you again." I say fiercely. "Katn-" I cut him off. "NO. LEAVE." I walk away and so does he. I get home and get back in bed. I drift off to sleep.

I see the children from the capitol. Then I see something fall from the sky. BOOM. It's a bomb. I see Prim rushing in to help. I see another bomb.I am on fire and Prim is dead or dying. I tried to help her but I couldn't move. I watched my little sister Prim the only person I was certain I loved die.They were both Gale's bombs which made it worse.

I geuss I was screaming because i feel Peeta's arms wrap around me. I wake up and can't go back to sleep so I go hunting. I get a deer. I head home and don't see Peeta up. I run up stairs and he is lying in the bathroom floor covered in blood. He is pretty beat up. Who did this? GALE. I run out the door to Haymitch's house. "HAYMITCH NO TIME TO EXPLAIN GET TO MY HOUSE NOW. IT'S PEETA." I run back to my house with Haymitch and tell him to go get Peeta and bring him downstairs and not to let him go to sleep. I go find Gale.I find him at the lake.I walk over to him and pin him to the ground."Why did you do that to him? Hurting the ones I love will never make me love you.Those were your bombs that killed Prim.I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU!" I grab my bow and arrow from the cabin my father built on the lake and drive an arrow through Gale's stomach.I leave him there to die and I don't feel bad about it. He killed Prim.After that I go home and help Haymitch with Peeta.We finish and lies down on the couch.He goes to sleep and I try to wake him.
