Chapter 15

                *3 months later*
"Come on Julianna we have to get mommy to the hospital!" Peeta calls frantically. "Peeta. Calm down." i say rubbing his back. "HOW CAN I CALM DOWN IF YOUR HAVING A BABY?!?" he says walking out the door with my bags. I stand and wait smirking. He comes back in and walks upstairs. He comes back down with Julianna. "I almost forgot you Jul. That's how slow you are." he says walking out again. I know he won't remember me. I walk outside and get in the car. We get to the hospital and i start having contractions. They get me to a room and ready to have the baby. Peeta calls Haymitch and he comes and sits with Julianna. "Okay Mrs.Mellark get ready to push." the doctor says getting ready. I look at Peeta and he comes over. I grab his hand and the doctor says to push. Push. Push. Push. After a few hours i hear our son crying. The nurse takes him and gets him cleaned. "Peeta i want to give him a diffrent name." i say looking at Peeta. "What do you want to name him?" he asks. "Joshua Ryan Mellark." i say. "After my father?" he asks shocked. "Yes. He came to see me before our first games and he was so kind. It's my fault he's dead and now i am going to name my son after him." i say smiling. Peeta leans down and kisses me. We pull apart and the nurse comes in with Joshua. "What do you want to name him?" she asks. "Joshua Ryan Mellark." i say. She looks at me in shock at our last name. "Your Katniss Everdeen." she says. "Now i'm Katniss Mellark and i have 2 kids i said i would never have." i say. A little while later Haymitch and Julianna come in to see Josh. "What's his name?" i hear a voice say. Johanna walks in with my mother. "Joshua Ryan Mellark" I answer before looking up to identify the voice. "Mom?" i say handing Josh to Peeta. She walks over and hugs me. Johanna hands the nurse a camera and asks her to take a picture. As everyone moves in i know  this is how i want it to be. My friends and family around me with my handsome baby boy in my arms. I wouldn't want to have it any other way. "I love you all." i say kissing Josh's forehead.
