Secrets Can Break You

I sat on the stage with Slash in silence for about ten minutes waiting for him to lecture me, but he said nothing. "Uh, why aren't you lecturing me or fighting with me about this?" I asked him a bit nervous. He looked down and then finished off his cigarette flicking it on the ground. "Listen, I know you didn't start the fight, I saw the bruise on our back when you had her pinned, I had a feeling she started it." He said not looking at me. "Why the fuck are you even dating that psychopath anyway?" I asked him taking a seat next to him.

"I don't know, to fill the void I guess." he said messing with his hands. "Ha you sound like me and my job. The void to me is yo-" I stopped myself before saying anything else. I myself just realized the void in my life was Slash, but I never even noticed it until now.

Slash looked at me in confusion "Were you about to say me?"

I laughed at that even though it was true, "Uh-no I wasn't going to say that." I got up in a panic then decided to myself to go for a walk. "I'm gonna go back to the bus now. I'll see you later." I finished and walked away, except I wasn't going to the bus I had no clue where I was going exact. I just kept walking. Soon I had no clue where I was and it was getting late. I tried to find my way back to the venue, but I did not know Boston at all. I have never been here before.

I ended up by the harbor and sat on the steps. Looking out at the water I kept thinking that I almost admitted to Slash that I loved him. I had my face in my hands until I heard someone calling out my name, then I heard five people yelling for me. I turned and saw the band hunting for me, Axl saw me and ran towards me. "What the fuck were you thinking running off like that?" He said when he reached me. "GUYS OVER HERE!" He called out and then I saw them all heading over.

"I-I just needed time alone..." I said trying to avoid eye contact with Slash, the others sensed something, but decided to ignore it. We walked back to the bus, Axl had his arm around me and I could feel Slash's eyes burning into me.

Concert day...

I barely slept last night tossing and turning thinking back to everything. I was up before everyone so I decided to leave the bus and work out a little. I was in a t-shirt and a pair of shorts that belonged to Axl. I was in the middle of push-ups when Slash came out of the bus, I tried to ignore him, but he was watching me. After a few minutes I finished push ups and looked back at him "Can I help you?" I said with a little sass.

He walked over to me and he smirked staring at me "What?!" I said again "Nothing." He said with a smile then walked away. I thought to myself what the fuck was that about, I blocked it from my mind and continued to work out. After I was done I ate with the rest and I saw no sign of Maureen. "Where is the ragging bitch?" I asked them they stopped eating and looked at me and I took a drink of my water, Izzy piped up "Slash dumped her, which we thought about time."

I choked on my water and started coughing like crazy. "Woah what is that about Pam?" Duff said looking at me weird. I coughed and then cleared my throat "I thought she had him on a leash!? How did she react?" I asked taking another drink of my water. Axl started laughing  and I looked at him confused "What?" He continued laughing "She had to be carried out by security. Best four minutes of my life." Axl said still laughing as the others joined in.

"Yea she started hitting Slash and then was going to hunt you down and kill you." Steven said laughing a little. I looked at them in shock "She what!? Did she get arrested or something?" I don't know why I was so scared I could take her, but she threatened my life. "Eh don't worry. She won't come back here in a long time." Duff said as he got up to leave.

Later that day before the concert...

I was sitting alone in the tour bus cleaning up their mess while the band was getting ready for the concert. I finished and the show would start in ten minutes, I looked out the window and saw someone running towards the bus. I saw the thick dark curls and realized it was Slash. What the hell is he doing the shows about to start! I thought to myself.

He opened the door "Slash what the hell are you do-" I couldn't even finish the sentence because he grabbed my face and kissed me. Not lightly but passionately. He the let go smiled at me then left to go to the stage for the concert.

"What the fuck!?" I said out loud and stood there for about a half hour missing the first half of the concert. After I collected my thoughts I went to buy myself some clothes since I got tired of wearing the same thing for the past few days. I grabbed my purse and was off, I didn't leave a note because I thought I'd be back before the concert ended.

An hour and a half later...

I was heading back to the venue with bags in my hand when I felt someone was following me. I turned around every so often to find no one behind me. I had a bad feeling about it, so I walked even faster. I knew the concert was ending soon and I needed to get back before they noticed me gone. I walked as fast as I could until I passed a bar and drink guys started walking out "hey baby where you going?" One said to me the other walked in front of me.

"Why don't you come with us and we can have a good time." He said grabbing at my the other behind me grabbing my butt.

"Get off you drunk!" I said loud but they did not move from me. Then I heard a familiar voice behind me "hey back off, she's with us." I turned around to see the band standing there. The drunk guys didn't listen and continued, I tried to move away and get towards the band. Then I saw the security guards come out and they yanked the drunks off of me and I walked over to them. They surrounded me like wall and I felt someone grab my hand I turned to see who, it was Slash.

Then I felt Axl wrap their arm around me and slash dropped my hand. Once the drunks were escorted away from us I asked them "weren't you guys doing a concert?" They looked at me and nodded "it ended a half hour ago and we didn't see you there so we thought you came around here." Izzy said taking a drink of the beer in his hand. "I guess I lost track of time."  I said shrugging.

"Come on let's drink!" Duff said heading into the bar the others followed, except me "I think I'm gonna just head back to the bus. I'm not in the mood to party." I said stepping away and the boys nodded and then Slash said "I should walk her to the bus to make sure she doesn't have a problem."

I looked at him and was thinking oh shit. "Oh no Slash it's fine. I can walk by myself." I tried to reassure him, but Axl chimed in "Pamela, let him walk you to the bus. We don't need any more problems." He smirked at me like he had a plan in motion. I was sucked right into it. I sighed "fine." And he walked besides back to the bus.

My mind was spinning. First he kissed me. Then he holds my hand. Now he's walking me to the bus. I don't know if this is a secret I can keep, but I have no choice.
