"Maureen is here? Are you sure?" Slash asked them curious to know if it's true. "Yes she walked by us. Stopped then bolted in here. She's searching every floor for her." Matt said sitting on the couch. I was shocked and scared, but I had these guys here so nothing would actually happen. Why do I think so positively of course something could happen. "I'm gonna go put my hair up." I said walking towards the bedroom. Slash ended up following me and once we were in there he shut the door. "Are you okay?" He asked, I nodded slowly.

"I guess." I said after a brief pause. I grabbed my hairbrush and grabbed my hair tie putting it in a high ponytail. Slash walked up behind me wrapping his arms around me "nothing will happen. We are all here." He said setting his head on my shoulder. I turned around to look at him and I hugged him. He held me for a while then decided to go check on the boys. He headed out and I was alone. I walked into my closet to grabbed a sweatshirt. I came back out and my window was open and I heard the door closing slowly. I looked over to find Maureen, she slammed the door closed and locked it.

"No!" I yelled hoping the boys heard me, but I wasn't sure. "Slash is mine and he will be mine forever." She said looking at me with her crazy eyes. "He doesn't love you, you're a past fling." I said trying to remain civil, but still loud enough for them to hear. "You took him from me. You are a lying little ugly ass bitch. You're gonna pay." She said walking towards me. I had no where to go she backed me against the wall. "Back the fuck off or else." I threatened her, but I didn't think fighting would solve anything.  She just laughed.

"Oh trust me. There won't be an or else." She pulled out a Swiss Army knife my eyes got wide. I then punched her in the head and went to go towards the door, but she grabbed my ankle and I fell down. I let out a scream so loud my ears hurt. Maureen then was on top of me punching me and beating the life out of me. I heard someone banging on the door trying to break it down. I started to lose consciousness, and things were going blurry, the last thing I remembered was the glare of the knife over my throat. Then everything went black.

The next morning.....

When everything went black I didn't hear anything, but how I'm hearing the beeping of a heart monitor and the rush of people in the hallway. I opened my eyes slowly to see an empty hospital room. I felt like someone put a jackhammer into my brain. I looked around for a call light, but couldn't find one. "Hello!?" I called out and soon a nurse came walking in. "Oh good you're awake. How are you feeling dear?" She asked politely moving to my bedside.

"My head is pounding. Can I see a mirror please?" I asked wanting to see how much damage there actually was. She smiled and nodded then left the room for a few seconds and came back with a mirror. "Here you go." She said handing it to me. I looked at myself and I looked like a train wreck. Nothing was too severe, just a lot of bruises.

"You did not have any broken bones, just some severe bruising around your eyes and nose." The nurse said smiling then she started checking my vitals. "Is anyone here for me?" I asked her and the nurse shook her head "No, but your parents were alerted and they will try to make it out here by tomorrow." She said touching my arm then continuing on "Do you want something to eat or drink?" I nodded "yes, can I have some water please?" She nodded and headed out of the room "be right back!"

I sat there fighting the tears I had thoughts swirling around in my brain, which didn't help the pain. The only word that kept repeating was un-fucking-believable. The nurse came back and handed me the water and she left. I was so angry and hurt, I couldn't wait to get released from this hospital.

Two days later...

I was home and my parents just left to go back to Indiana. I got fired from my job because my boss was a dick about me being in the hospital so now I was jobless and couldn't even afford my apartment without a job. I had to leave, so I had to move back to Indiana and live with my parents. I was packing up everything and I found Axl's shirt in the back of the closet. I threw it in the bottom of the box not wanting to look at it.

I had everything packed up in three hours and the mover truck was here already helping me take things down. I never thought I'd be leaving New York. I never thought Slash would never show up to the hospital. I guess sometimes things happen for a reason. I took one last look at the empty apartment then turned towards the door shutting it slowly behind me.

A month later.....

My parents built an addition above the house for me to live in. It had a bedroom little living room and my very own kitchen and bathroom. I finally found a job at law firm as the bosses secretary it paid more than my New York job so I barely needed to work. I haven't heard any news about Slash, or Axl, or the band for that matter. I tried to move on a date people but I never felt the spark I felt with Slash. I did start playing piano and guitar because I had nothing else to do.

It was Sunday and my parents usually went out for dinner together without me. I was home alone for once, I turned on the radio and just sat around the house. I then heard Guns N' Roses come on over the radio and I turned it off. It's been a month, but I'm still not happy with them. I walked back upstairs to my little living area and decided to dabble on the piano. Out of boredom I tried to learn November Rain, and I got halfway through and I heard the doorbell ring. I looked at the clock and thought it's eleven o'clock at night who the hell could that be.

I closed the piano and then walked downstairs. I looked out the window to see if I could see anyone, but it was way too dark. I turned the light on and opened the door. I could've sworn my heart stopped when I saw who it was. I thought I was dreaming or seeing things, but when I opened the screen door I knew it was as real as can be.
