Logan's pov
"This is just rude." He muttered, adjusting his tie as he sat down for a one on one with the reader.

"Hello, I understand your confusion and unfortunately I cannot provide an exact answer. Before you ask however, no, this is not a chapter." He shifted in his seat a bit.

"Hey Lo! How's the conference thingy— oh... hi! You must be a reader." Patton sat down next to Logan, again on the opposite side of the table from you. "Well aren't they just the cutest little thing—"

"Hey guys do we have any...." Roman rose up, not quite as dramatically as usual. He seemed a bit more tired but after being met with the scene before him he smiled and walked towards you, "Greetings, my Dear." He winked at you and went to kiss your hand but you pulled away and cussed him out.

He looked surprised at you before answering, "I apologize for acting before considering whether you would've wanted me to or not; but how does someone as adorable as you swear so much? You kiss you madre with that mouth?"

Virgil was next to Patton, nobody saw when he came up but he just mumbled quietly, "The writer never said they would be this hot..."

"If I may?" Logan asked, clearing his throat.

The sides, somewhat reluctantly, sat down.

Logan sat his hands on the table, fingers laced together. "The writer would like to inform you, they aren't firing you. They will continue writing due to new found confidence. However, we hope you understand that some adults or younger humans brains are wired differently then how the world is realistically."

"Logan, Honey, I love you, but you make it sound worse then it is." Patton smiled softly and grabbed one of Logan's hands.

"Well.... the writer... they just... they do this thing where they just sort of...." Roman started but trailed off, looking to Virgil for help.

Virg sighed, "I'll put it plain and simple, the writer has a life. They're scared. They feel. They deal with loathing in a unique way just like I'm sure you do if you're in high school or college... hell even middle school. Especially middle school, those were rough years."

"And uh.... they might have some minor illnesses like Depression and..." Roman gestures to Virgil, "Anxiety. They're handling everything very well and they appreciate the concern. They just seem to be rather stressed as us creative people usually are." Roman dramatically put his wrist on his head.

"They're really trying though! They just seem busier then usual." Patton smiled wryly.

Logan looked at the traits, confused, "Why are you addressing the writer as they/them? He said it would be alright if we told the readers a bit about him in this weird update."

"I thi—ugh—" Virgil started to say before tripping. Roman caught him a few seconds before he hit the floor, but since he was so sleep deprived, he soon fell on top of Virgil.

Before you could see what was about to happen, Patton stepped in your line of vision. "Hey kiddo! If you liked what just happened and are still very tired of waiting on the next update, you might want to read the authors one-shot book. But since he was a blushing mess when he wrote it, I'm going to say It's a bit too embarrassing for us sides to read. Does the author feel any shame for self promoting? Nope! He never even thought this would get two views. So he'd like to thank everyone one more time."

Logan smiled at Patton and they stood, "Thank you well be out once the writer finds his flow again."
