Princes pov
How did this happen? All I remember hearing is that plan A failed and then—
Then my feet carried me out to Deceit. I don't know how, I don't know why. I do know, the army stayed behind. I don't think they even noticed when I slipped away and towards Deceit's throne.
"Deceit Sanders." I stated, loud enough for him to hear.
He turned, "Ah, Prince. Just when I was starting to get nervous you wouldn't show." He smirked, his eyes gleaming yellow.
I pulled out my sword and got into a fighting stance. "Come down from your throne and face me like a real man." I challenged. And though I appeared confident and level headed, I had no idea what I was doing. I wasn't even there. (Mentally speaking, of course)
"A real man, you say?" Deceit laughed. "And what would you know about that, Ro—?"
"Hey!" A voice boomed.
It sounded familiar yet so different.
We both turned, curious of the trait. It was Virgil. I'd never heard him yell that loud before....
Even if he was mad and we were bickering, it was a silent type of anger. He never raised his voice.
Deceit's facial expression grew discontent. His eyes, an even more vibrant yellow now. "The anxious trait." He whispered to himself.
Then, louder, "Anxiety, just what do you think you're doing?"
I looked back at Virgil with an expression that read: yeah, what the fuck?
Virgil just smirked, "The best part about that is, I have no idea." He started walking closer, "Cmon, Deceit. Look at me! No plan! No backup! No weapons worth a damn!" He did a little spin with his hands up to show he did, in fact have no weapons. "Oh, and I'll tell you something else I don't have: anything to loose! So...."
He smiled, (he fucking looked at Deceit, essentially death, then smiled) and brushed the hair out of his eyes. By now, he was only a few inches away from Deceits face as he spoke probably with the most intimidating tone he'd ever had, "Come and get me."
Before he put his hands behind his back and took a few steps away.
By now, my common sense had kicked in, "What do you think you're doing?!" I hissed once he was close enough to hear me.
He smiled as he turned to me, "I think I'm saving your cute ass, Sir Sings a Lot."
Then he nodded in the direction of the hidden army and whispered, "He doesn't know about them. Again, just like we practiced. We're just playing the roles of the distraction."
"You two? Against me?! I've made both of you crumble! Both of you have lost any hope simply in a matter of days!! What makes you think you could possibly bring me down?!" Deceit rumbled.
"Well, you see," We heard a third voice. Cold, calculative, certain.
We drew our attention to the one and only Logan Sanders who took a quick glance at Krissy. She gave the signal and he adjusted his glasses and waved the army forward.
