"Here's you three o'clock tea Dr. Finch. Raspberry. Your favorite."
Rachel set the tray down on a nearby table then moved towards Finch's chair.
"Let's get you out of this cramped chair and onto the bed."
She wheeled him towards a low sitting bed in the corner, then moved to help him up."No, I can do it myself."
With a face of clear pain, Finch lifted himself from the chair, placing all his weight on the right side of his body, and sat gently on the bed. Rachel placed some pillows behind him to prop him up. Rachel poured some tea into the cup and spooned sugar in before handing it over. As he took a sip, Jekyll spoke up again."I would like to introduce you to Mr. Jasper, the newest lodger of the institute."
Finch nodded.
"Nice to meet you. I'm guessing you work with exotic animals?"
He must have seen the confused look on Jasper's face.
"You're covered in bite and claw marks, that says animals, but you're here, that says exotic, probably supernatural.""Yes, as a matter of fact. You're very good at that."
Finch smiled.
"I'd be out of a job if I wasn't."
He took a last sip and set the empty cup back on the tray.
"Thank you Rachel."Rachel smiled widely.
"Of course sir, now get some rest. You didn't sleep at all last night and you've been working all day."Jekyll nodded solemnly.
"In that case, we won't keep you. Come along Jasper."
