Joe's POV

I hardly register the bell ringing, I'm so zoned out of the lesson. It's a scramble to pack up quickly, then we all head out of the lesson without the teacher dismissing us.

"Still up for going to yours?" Oli asks Jack and Conor.

"Course," Jack says. We wait for Caspar and then head to the benches to meet Mikey, Josh and Byron.

"You lot took your time," Josh says.

"You just got here early," Caspar says, and we start walking home. It's not far to the Maynards, but we decide to stop off in the shop and grab ourselves some snacks. But as usual, Mikey doesn't have any money.

"Guys..." Mikey starts. Conor gets some of his money out and hands it to Mikey.

"You're too nice Conor," I say, grabbing myself a bottle of coke and a packet of crisps. Everyone else gets their stuff and we head to the counter and pay. On our way out, we see a fight happening outside the shop between a group of girls and Yasmin, Grace and Marie.

"They're brave," Byron says to me. I nod, sighing. Geez, those girls need to realise that messing with that trio is never good news.

"Oi! Sugg!"

I hear my name being called by Yasmin. I roll my eyes.

"What?" I say.

"Come and help!" Yasmin calls. Er, no thank you. I have better things to do than to get involved in these pointless fights. I then see Anna Maynard and her redhead friend storming over to them.

"Stop it! That's one too many people you've picked on today!" Anna yells. Wow. When did Jack and Conor's sister become so aggressive?

"And what are you going to do about it?" Marie says. Anna strides up to the girls and grabs Grace by the hair, pulling her down and then stamping on her toe. I've never seen Anna like this before. It's quite impressive. There's then a lot of fighting between the four girls, with the redhead staying far back out of it.

"Anna! Stop!" Conor says.

"I never knew she could be like this," Jack says. Meanwhile, the four girls who had been involved in the fight choose this moment to head away. Anna finally lets go of Grace and the three girls head off.

"Wow sis," Conor says. "That was fierce."

"I know," Anna says, grinning. "Oh, is it alright if Dianne comes back? I just kind of assumed that would be fine."

"Oo, getting all confident, are we?" Jack teases. "As long as you stay well out of our way."

"Well then you can't take over the whole house like you usually do," Anna adds. She and Dianne then head off.

"When did Anna become so sassy?" Oli asks. "It's like a different girl."

"I know," Conor says. "I mean, good on her."

Dianne's POV

"Anna, that was amazing," I say. I would never have the courage to anything like that.

"First you, then Chloe, Amy, Katya and Lauren," Anna says. "It's not right."

We arrive back at Anna's before the boys. Not going to lie, I'm slightly scared now that I know the whole group will be over. That's a lot of people that could possibly hate me.

We dump our things and head up to Anna's room, and listen to the commotion that the boys make when they come home. I hear the stamping of feet on the stiars and all their loud voices.

"Keep it down!" Anna yells, opening her door to shout it in their faces.

"I'm liking this feisty Anna," one of the boys says, and they all head into one of the boy's rooms.

We spend the evening talking and getting to know each other even better, than Anna's mum calls us down to let us know that dinner's ready. It's pizza, which all the boys seem to be happy about, and we're allowed to take it upstairs as there's so many of us. But as I'm getting myself a drink, I make eye contact with one of the boys.

One with piercing blue eyes and a mop of long, light brown hair.

"Earth to Joe?" Conor says. "I'll eat all your pizza."

I don't know what happened, but wow, I like the look of this Joe.

A/N: Next part! Keep note of Amy, Chloe, Katya and Lauren, they will be more involved later. Let me know your thoughts so far!
