Alexander's POV
* the next day*

Today was a big day. Hercules and Lafayette were coming home and James Reynolds was possibly getting thrown in jail. I was about to leave when I realized that I was forgetting my keys.

" John!" I yelled.
" What?!" He yelled back from our room.
" Where the hell are my keys?!" I asked looking around the living room.
" I don't know! Where the hell did you put them?!" He yelled back.
I didn't know he cursed.
I was about to yell something back when I found my keys. I quickly said goodbye and ran out the door. I climbed in my car and headed to the courthouse. John wasn't coming with me because he had to pick up our friends from the airport. I wanted him to come though because I didn't like being away from him. I walked into the freezing cold courthouse. I was determined for us to win this case and put James Reynolds in jail.

Lafayette's POV

I woke up to Herc running around the hotel room and packing up. He turned around and noticed that I was awake.
" Good morning babe." He said while kissing my cheek.
" Good morning, mon amour." I said back smiling.
" We have to leave for our flight in an hour." He said while looking around to see if he forgot to pack anything.
" ok." I said as I got up to get dressed.
Herc was sitting down on his phone while I looked for my headphones. I was looking for twenty minutes when I finally found them. I put them in to listen to music and heard nothing.
No! Merde they're broken!
" Herc, can you go buy me some new headphones?" I asked with puppy dog eyes.
" Of course. I'll be back in 10." He said while closing the door.
I decided to turn on the T.V when I got a sudden sick feeling in my stomach. I pushed the feeling back down when suddenly I jumped up and ran to the bathroom. (💚)
I opened the door and fell to my knees as I began to throw up. It burned and wouldn't stop coming up. I decided to stop trying to keep all of it down and just let it happen. It hurt so bad that I began to cry. I stopped after a few minutes. I got up and flushed the toilet. I looked into the mirror and I looked pale.
Calm down Laf. It's just nerves.
I told myself as I brushed my teeth. I hated being sick. As soon as I was done bushing my teeth, Herc walked in with my headphones. He saw my pale, tear stained face and ran over to me.
" Laf! Baby, are you ok?" He asked while hugging me.
" Oui. Just...nerves." I said.
" Are you sure?" He asked pulling away.
I nodded and smiled. He smiled back and grabbed our stuff and before I knew it, we were on the plane back home.

Maria's POV

We were in the middle of the jury ( I want to be a lawyer and I don't know if that's the real term😂🤦🏼‍♀️). I was so nervous even though we were winning. I looked behind me to see Peggy, Eliza, and Angelica smiling at me. If only Eliza knew what James made me do. I would have to tell her. I just didn't know how. I was snapped out of my thoughts by people shouting what sounded like happy shouts? I saw James being handcuffed and taken away.
We won! We actually won!
I started smiling as I ran up to Peggy and kissed her. We both pulled away with a shocked look. She shrugged and kissed me and I kissed back.
" What does this make us?" She asked smiling at me while hugging me.
" I don't know. Do you, Peggy Schuyler, want to be my girlfriend?" I asked.
She kissed me again while smiling.
" I'll take that as a yes." I said hugging her.
I noticed Alexander staring at us and smiling. I mouthed a ' thank you'. He just nodded and walked out of the building. I turned to my girlfriend and we left, hand in hand.

John's POV

I was at the airport waiting for Laf and Herc when I got a text from Alexander.
Alex💻📜: Hey. We won!
Me: That's great
I smiled looking down at my phone. I heard a tapping noise on my window. It was Herc telling me to open the trunk. I pressed the button so that he could put their bags in the trunk. I also unlocked the doors for Laf. He got in the front seat and whispered something in my ear that my eyes widen. I was about to ask him something when Herc got in the car. We drove in silence until Herc spoke up.
" Can you drop me off at the store? I need to get things. I might be an hour or two." He explained.
" Yeah...s-sure." I said while he gave me a puzzled look.
I pulled into a strip mall and Herc got out. After I drove away, I turned to Laf.
" Are you serious?" I asked.
" I think. I mean... I don't know." He said looking at his hand.
" Oh my God! Laf! He didn't!" I said taking his hand and looking at the ring.
" Oui! He did!" Laf said with a big smile on his face.
We continued driving until we stopped at a red light. Lafayette turned to me with tears in his eyes.
" John...I'm scared." He said while crying.
" It's ok. Your family is loaded. You will be fine. I promise." I said while hugging him.
The light turned green just as I pulled away.
" Can you take me to the store and then tell everyone to come to my dorm?" He asked while looking at me.
" Of course." I replied.
Next thing I knew, and we were all piled in Laf and Herc's dorm. Angelica, Eliza, Peggy, Maria, Alex and I were all looking at Lafayette. He sighed and took a single item out of the bag. When everyone saw it they gasped.
" Before, we get into all of this. Herc and I are getting married." He said while holding up his hand.
Everyone ran up to him and grabbed his hand looking at the ring. After they all looked, they sat back down.
" I'm going to explain to you why I am holding this." He said holding up the item.
After he explained he told us what he was going to do and went to the bathroom. We all sat in silence waiting for him to come out.

Lafayette's POV

I went into the bathroom and stared at the item in my hand. I quickly used the bathroom and held the pregnancy test in my shaky hand. I gasped at the result and walked out with my hand on my mouth. I walked back to the center of the living room with everyone's eyes on me. I stood with my back faced towards them as I looked again. I removed my hand from my mouth and took a deep breath. I turned around and showed my friends the test.
