(Wow. It's actually here. The final chapter. I'm going to write a sneak peek of the sequel and then begin my sequel on my other account. I'm really excited for this chapter and I just wanted to thank you all. Y'all have been with me throughout this entire book and you guys have been so patient when it took me a month to put out a new chapter. You all waited for this chapter. You all gave me so much love and treated me with kindness. Hearing your thoughts on this book is motivating and inspiring. So thank you. 💜💛)

John's POV

I woke up this morning to Alex cuddled up to my side as always. I figured that I should do something special because it was graduation day and because I love my boyfriend. I slowly got out of his grip and stood up. I took a shower and brushed my teeth.
Today's the day. I'm so nervous.
I'm sure everyone else was nervous too though. Graduation day is a big day for everyone. I put on my clothes and went downstairs. I walked into the kitchen and immediately got out the ingredients to make pancakes. I put on my playlist and started dancing around the kitchen to a mixture of Korn, Lana Del Rey, Marina and the Diamonds,Eminem, and David Bowie(my literal playlist). I put the pancakes on a plate and covered them in syrup, raspberries, blueberries, and powdered sugar. I grabbed the orange juice and poured it into a cup. I grabbed the plate and cup and walked up to the bedroom that Alex and I was staying in. I opened the door and placed the food on the nightstand next to me. I slowly leaned over and kissed Alexander on the cheek.
"Wake up, baby. I made you breakfast." I smiled as he turned over and looked at me.
"You did?" He asked with puppy dog eyes.
I chuckled.
"Yeah." I said as I handed him his breakfast.
" I love you, John." He told me.
" I love you too, Alex" I replied and kissed him.

Jefferson's POV

Omg omg omg. I'm freaking out. I'm gonna do it today. I'm gonna do it. I'm also gonna graduate but more importantly I'm gonna do it!
I turned to look at my boyfriend as he was slowly waking up. He looked around and then his eyes widened.
"It's graduation day!!!!" James shouted as he smiled and ran to take a shower and get dressed.
I laughed at my boyfriend.
I love him so much.
We both finished getting ready and headed to Peggy's house to meet everyone before we went to graduation.

Mulligan's POV

I woke up to Princess babbling in her crib. I picked her up out of her crib and went into the kitchen to feed her. She babbled to me and I talked back to her. My daughter and I had a nice conversation until Lafayette walked into the kitchen and distracted us both.
"Good morning, mon amour. Good morning, Princess." He spoke to us.
I told him good morning as Princess continued to babble.
"She's a bit of a talker this morning, isn't she?" Lafayette asked while kissing Princess' cheek.
"Yes she is. She woke me up because she was talking so much." I said.
"Did you wake up daddy?" Laf asked her while smiling.
Princess laughed and continued to babble. Lafayette and I chuckled at our daughter.
"At least mama got to sleep in a bit, huh Princess?" I asked her.(I forgot what I made her call Laf)
"Mm...mmm...mama..." Princess said.
Lafayette and I looked at each other with wide eyes.
"Did she just say her first word?" I asked.
"I think she did. And it was mama." Lafayette told me with a smirk.
I rolled my eyes and kissed him.
"We have to get ready for graduation." I told him.
We got dressed and I helped him get Princess dressed. We put her in her car seat and drove over to Peggy's house.

Eliza's POV

"I'm graduating todayyyyyyy" I sang as I skipped through my dorm.
Sally stood against a wall and shook her head as she smiled.
"Come on, hun. Get your dress on." Sally told me as she disappeared into her room to get dressed.
I walked into my room smiling and sat in front of my vanity. I took out my straightener and put on my dress as I waited for it to heat up. I sectioned my hair and I started to straighten it. After I was done with my hair, I pulled out my makeup boxes. I began doing my makeup and making myself look pretty.(you're already pretty). I was finished with my makeup so I got my cap and gown and went out to the living room to find Sally playing on her phone.
"You ready...whoa." She said with wide eyes.
"What?" I asked nervously.
"You look beautiful." She said with a smile.
"You look amazing too" I returned the smile.
"Ok let's go." She said.
We walked out the door and drove to Peggy's house.

Peggy's POV

Soon everyone in the squad was at my house.
"Okay guys. What's the plan after graduation?" I asked everyone.
"We could go to me and Alexander's house." John said. I smirked.
"John we don't have a house." Alexander said.
"Yes we do." John told him.
Alex thought he was joking.
"Since when?" Alexander said while rolling his eyes.
Maria came over and wrapped her arm around my waist. We looked at each other and smiled before joining everyone else in looking at the couple.
"Since yesterday afternoon." John smiled and handed his boyfriend a piece of paper.
Alex read it quickly and then looked up at John and kissed him. Everyone started clapping.
"Okay! Let's go graduate!!" Maria yelled and everyone cheered as they walked out the door.

Alexander's POV

Here we were. We were all sitting in alphabetical order meaning that I wasn't sitting next to my boyfriend which sucked. Washington was speaking currently to the students and all the parents and families that were here.
"Now I'm going to ask everyone that was in the student government to stand up." I stood up along with Jefferson, Burr, and a few others.
We all sat down but looked confused when Thomas was still standing. Washington winked at him and he walked up to the stand.
"James. Can you come up here please?" He asked.
My eyes widened. James stood up and walked on the stage and stood next to Thomas. Jefferson turned to him and grabbed his hands.
"James. I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for being by my side. Thank you for dealing with me when I was at my lowest. Thank you for helping me be a better person. Thank you for making me feel like I was wanted and like I mattered everyday. Without you, I don't know what I'd do. Trust me when I say that I love you." Jefferson spoke.
"I love you too." Madison said with tears in his eyes.
They kissed and everyone clapped for them.

Graduation continued one with people getting up and collecting their degrees. Washington got to my name but didn't call me up.
"I have skipped Alexander Hamilton due to him being the valedictorian so he will go last and provide his speech." Washington told everyone.
Everyone said 'oh's and 'okay's. I just nodded. Soon they reached John's name. I smiled and clapped for my boyfriend. He met my eyes while he was onstage and he winked at me and smiled. I felt blush rise to my cheeks. After everyone else collected their degrees and shook hands, it was my turn. I walked on stage and looked at everyone in the crowd. I became nervous so I looked for John so I could feel comfort but he wasn't there. I looked at Peggy but she just shrugged. I felt myself frown but I started my speech none the less.
"Hello, everyone. Thank you for being here. I'm honestly kind of nervous to talk in front of you. You would honestly think that I would be rambling on and on right now because I always have something to say and I'm not afraid of anything."
"You got that right." Jefferson said and everyone laughed. I felt a smile form on my face.
"Thank you Thomas. Anyways, I guess I'll just start with saying that this has been a journey. College has been quite an adventure. I've made so many friends, including someone that used to be an enemy, Thomas. I found myself in a love triangle, sorry to Angelica and Eliza. I've made a best friend through an awkward affair, Maria. I've made a good friend through my roommate, Peggy. I've made friends with a Frenchman, Lafayette. Lafayette is the one who graduated and finished college while holding a baby. But most importantly, I met my boyfriend here. Which I have no idea where he is." I heard everyone go from laughter to gasps.
I felt a tug on my gown and I looked down to see John on one knee with a microphone.
"Alexander Hamilton. May I just say that I love you. I love you so much that I wouldn't be able to live without you. I love you so much that the leaves become greener and the flowers become brighter. The birds sing more, the butterflies appear more. This is all because of you. I love you and I want to spend every second of my life with you. I want to live with you. I want to have children with you. I want to raise a family with you. I love you so much so I must ask this question." John pulled out a small box and opened it to reveal a beautiful ring.
"Will you marry me?" He asked.
"Yes!" I said with tears in my eyes.
He stood up and put the ring on my finger. I smiled and pulled him into a kiss as everyone cheered and clapped and hollered. I pulled away and rested forehead on his.

(Well. That's the end of this book but not this series. Be on the lookout for the sequel. It's going to be called Love Was All We Needed. I'm really excited. Also if Madison and Jefferson had already said I love you before this than just ignore it. I needed a way to confuse you and make you think that Jefferson was proposing and not Laurens. I love you guys so much! Au revior, mes amies. Until next time.🐢♥️) 1776
