Chapter 28

(I finally ordered my Ciel Phantomhive cosplay. It's the weekend. I'm sick. I'll give you guys a chapter.💜💚*no puke don't worry*)

Hercules POV

Lafayette, Princess, and I all made it to Washington's class. As soon as we walked in, Mr.Washington walked to us to see Princess. He smiled and I handed her to Washington. He held her and looked down at her smiling.
" She looks just like you Lafayette." Washington said.
" Oui. She does." Lafayette said.
We all sat and talked until people started coming in and sitting down.
"LET ME SEE HER" Angelica screamed.
Lafayette told her to be quite and then laughed a little. Washington handed her to Angelica.
After a minute, Jefferson walked in the class.
Well that sucks!
He came up to us and asked to see me and Lafayette in the hallway. I sighed and walked into the hallway with Lafayette.
" Look. I need your help." Jefferson said.
" Why should we help you? And with what?" I said.
" I have this weird feeling around James. I get butterflies when I see him and I get kinda nervous around him. I-"
" You're in love, mon ami." Lafayette interrupted him.
" What do you mean? What's " love"?" Jefferson asked.
" You've never been in love?" I asked.
" No..." He said.
" Love is the best feeling in the world. When you are with that person, you feel like you are the only two people in the world. You get butterflies whenever you see them or even hear their name. When you finally kiss them it feels right and it seems like you're all alone, in your own place, together." Lafayette said.
" That sounds amazing..." Jefferson said.
I grabbed Lafayette's hand.
" It is" I said and looked back at Jefferson.
" Listen, I know I haven't been the best person but I'm trying to change. I went to high school with this girl named Regina. She was pretty much the ruler of the school. I hated her. She would mess around with me because I had a crush on her. She pretended to date me. I had this gut feeling that something wasn't right the entire time that we were dating. My feeling was right. She dated me to learn my secrets and then she told the whole school. I was heartbroken. I was so scared of getting hurt again that it was my goal to overthrow her and become the most popular person at the school. I became so mean that people left the school because of me. I was still scared of her being around so I moved here for college. Then, I met James and he's changing me. For the better. I just wanted to apologize for being so mean. I also wanted to say congratulations, for your engagement and your daughter. She's beautiful." Jefferson said.
With that, he walked away and back into the classroom. Lafayette and I smiled and walked into the classroom two minutes before the class started.

Johns POV

" IM DYING!!!!" I heard Alex scream from the couch.
" You're not dying." I said while walking into the living room. (😂 do you get it?)
" John. I have been coughing all night. I can't breathe out of my nose. My throat hurts. I'm dying," Alex said while grabbing a box of tissues. 
" Ok. I'll go get a thermometer. If you don't have fever then you are going to class. If you do, you're staying here." I said.
" Shouldn't I go to a doctor if I have a fever though?" Alex asked me while tilting his head to the side.
" I was studying to be a doctor before I decided to major in art. I can tell you what you have." I said while getting the thermometer.
Alex nodded as I came back and checked his temperature. I sighed.
" You have a fever." I said and put two fingers on his neck.
" Your lymph nodes are a little swollen." I said and then grabbed my phone and put the flashlight on.
" Your throat is a little red but there aren't any white spots. So, you don't have strep throat which is good." I said.
" You have a cold. You still have to stay here because you have a fever but I'll get your work from your classes." I said while standing up.
I began to walk away when Alex grabbed my hand. I turned around to see Alexander with puppy dog eyes.
" You're coming back right?" Alex asked me.
I hugged him.
" Of course I'm coming back." I said and smiled. Alex nodded and I left to get his class work.
I have 5 minutes to get to Washington's class before he starts teaching.

*3 minute time skip*

I made it to the building and walked inside Washington's classroom.
" Hello Laurens. What do you need?" He said with a smile.
" Alex is sick and I came to get his notes." I said while walking towards his desk.
" Ok. I have the notes right here and tell Alexander that I hope he feels better." Washington said.
" Thank you and I will." I said while walking to the door but making sure that I stopped to say hi to Princess, Hercules, Lafayette, and the sisters.
I finished getting all of Alexander's notes and started to walk to the dorm. When I got inside, Alex was laying on the couch with tissues surrounding him. He was covered with a blanket and was watching The Lion King. When he saw me, he jumped off of the couch and hugged me.
" Thank you, John." He said. I hugged back.
" You're welcome, babe." I said.
" Come watch Lion King with me." Alex said and pulled me with him to the couch.
I laughed and sat down with Alexander cuddled into me. After a few minutes, he fell asleep and I fell asleep soon after.

( I'm sorry for being gone! School has been crazy. Today is my mom's birthday and the day that her dad* my best friend died*. It's been hard.
