John's POV

I sat on the couch with my arm around my boyfriend. We were currently watching the news with everyone else in the group. It turns out that one of the guys that was helping Reynolds ratted him out because he was offered to get out of jail two years earlier and free access to books if he confessed. Everyone was overwhelmed with relief and happiness. Peggy and Maria were crying due to everything and knowing that they were going to be safe. Now we could all just take a break and not worry about anything other than graduating. I looked at Alexander with so much love.
What did I do to deserve you. You mean so much to me. I love you more than words can describe.
I kissed Alex's cheek and he looked up at me with a smile. I smiled in return.
"This calls for a celebration! Everyone is safe and happy, let's throw a party!" Thomas exclaimed.
Everyone agreed and soon we were planning a party. Soon enough, people came flooding through the double doors of Peggy's house. The music was blasting as everyone drank and danced. I stumbled around looking for my boyfriend. I walked into the kitchen and saw him talking to Aaron and Theodosia. By the looks of it, they were trying to leave but he was trying to convince them to stay. I stumbled over to him while tripping over a barstool in the process. I finally reach him and grabbed onto him from behind. My arms were draped over his shoulders and my chin was resting on his shoulder. I closed my eyes while swaying back in forth slowly, Alexander but his hands on mine that were laying on his chest.
"It looks like your boyfriend is not doing so well." Theodosia pointed out.
I hummed in response.

Alexander's POV (💚)

"I'm gonna be sick." I heard John say in my ear.
"Okay, come on. Let's go to the bathroom." I said and walked my boyfriend to the nearest bathroom and locked the door behind us.
As soon as John realized that we were in the bathroom, he knelt down in front of the toilet. I quickly sat next to him and grabbed his curly hair and moved it out of his face. I took the hair tie off of my wrist and put his hair in a ponytail as he puked his guts up. I rubbed his back as he continued to spill everything out into the toilet bowl. John started crying, he hated being sick like this so I shushed him in an attempt to calm him.
"Shh, baby it's okay. I know you hate being sick but it's okay." I quietly told him.
He nodded and puked one more time before flushing the toilet and curling up next to me . I wrapped my arms around him. I asked him if he wanted to go to sleep and he nodded. He was way past his flirty state. He was now in his sweetheart, loving, innocent tired state. I put his arm around me and helped him up the stairs. I opened the bedroom door and lied him down on the bed. I took his shoes off and put them on the floor at the foot of the bed. I pulled his jeans off and put them in the dirty clothes basket. I went to leave and go back downstairs but John called out to me and made grabbing hands. I smiled and lied down next to him after taking my shoes and jeans off. He cuddled up to me and smiled.
"I love you." He whispered to me.
"I love you too, babe." I replied.
